    Yup I have been to numerous dens mainly on the east side not many on west side of Dutchess only a few copperhead dens on west side I have lots of pictures

    As for venomous snakes being protected it’s actually all ny reptiles and amphibians that are protected and as for length of rattle it has no importance as they break and do not give any indication of age or anything other than number of times it has shed if it still has pre button and for locations they should never be revealed to many people would poach or destroy them

    Weather permitting I like to hang for a few days to let rigor leave the meat that’s all it takes is 48 hours

    Definitely a little late for them unless you’re on a southern exposure and it’s been really warm but we do have them I have been going to dens in ny for 30 plus years to see them and copperheads now as for early bear season i came to close to stepping on this 50 incher in the sundown forest while bear hunting

    Meatloaf from home raised beef and a mix of wild mushrooms including black trumpets and smooth chanterelles and beans from our garden man was it good

    Yes I used to go to in-laws and had a great time now I hunt our own land but not to have a better chance at a deer but because more sons and grandsons are hunting now so i am giving them a better chance by no being there

    Got screwed by my job just got home which is in Hyde park I should be in Tioga County so I will be up at 2 and driving out to our farm i am not happy hopefully tomorrow makes up for it

    I have 5 run them all year off season i use them to watch other animals and for trapping if i had money I would have a lot more

    Bob siels has done all my work for 30 years wouldn’t trust anyone else with a cat I have seen his and they are awesome looking but would definitely like to see your mounts
