No. According to Buffalo News no tax incentives are being sought for this project. -
Father & Son Seek land to hunt on Near home/Webster NY
pewlodar replied to crysler88's topic in Introductions
Although it is not private land the Bow Hunt program run by the Webster Parks and Rec offers a place to hunt close to home. The program is well run. I would suggest considering it. This year they will be opening a 4th property to hunt providing almost 400 acres of public land for Town residents. -
Going to get a new BBQ, might just bite the bullet and get a Weber.
pewlodar replied to burmjohn's topic in General Chit Chat
I am also in the market for a new grill. Not sure if a Weber will be in my price range. Regardless, I was wondering what is the preferred material for the cooking grids? I've heard different recommendations from the thick stainless steel rods to coated cast iron? Which is your favorite? -
Loctite for scope mounts ??
pewlodar replied to HuntOrBeHunted's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
Yes, i have used loctite as do several friends. As mentioned make sure it is the blue. -
I think you have to plant them in your manicured flower beds for the taste to be desirable. At least that is what the deer choose. Let them grow wild, deer don't touch them, try to plant them around the house, deer mow them down.

I had issues MVP before. Doctor prescribe 10 mg pill twice a day, MVP would only approve 20 mg once a day which wasn't as affective. How much senses does that make. Hate dealing with insurance companies. Best of luck getting with the formula. After spending 2 days with my twins regurgitating anything they drank, there is nothing worse then your child cries and you can help them.

If you think your rate is high, check this site out. http://interactive.taxfoundation.org/propertytax/ Being from Monroe County I think I am upset we drop to the #2 county in the nation when you compare tax rate to home value.

Whats your fav food while in the woods?
pewlodar replied to WhiteTailBuckDeer's topic in General Chit Chat
I like to bring left over pizza, water or one of the kid's juice box and whatever candy I can grab from the kids after Halloween. An apple or orange is good too. -
Grow, not sure your manicured forest is typical of NYS or the northeast for that matter. Would be interesting to get their thoughts on all your hard work and attention to your land.

Look; there really isn't a need for you to "take up Turkey hunting again.". I am sure you have a lot of things to do come spring. All I need is an address or some coordinates and I'll take care of the turkey problem you have, no charge.

I would say in general it is combination of all those factors, Doc. I don't have the numbers but isn't the average age of a hunter in NY also going up? Any correlation to age and safety?

Wish I could help get those off your hands but I am looking for the regular sticks. Those would be a nice compliment.

Guessing they were serving SODA at this event too! Can you imagine the damage they could cause to the general public? A home made meal, probably cooked with butter, maybe eggs, served withe possible coffee and soda! Glad someone is looking out for general public. I shutter to think that kids may have been exposed to this crazy event.

Bigger fan of the local dirt track or sprint car racing. Hopefully the latest spec for NASCAR will let the guy actually race the cars again. That said, I did the Richard Petty experience at Charlotte. Did about 170 around track. Quite possible the best $100 I ever spent.

Sharpest knifes out there are the Japanese knifes. When I first got mine I could slice 1/8 stripes of paper. Problem is resharpening. They are sharpen 90/10 so you have to order them right or left handed. Hard to find places that can sharpen them correctly.

More Bathroom Reading
pewlodar replied to wztirem's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
Wish these articles where printed and not on my phone. That way I could just flush them when I was finished. Might even put the lid down to make sure no one else has to see them. -
Not sure on Westchester but Webster, NY has a simple hit a target from 10, 20 and 30 yards test before being allowed to hunt in the Town bow hunt program.

What a stupid question; does she have enough hits to get paid yet? I would surmise her attempt at gotcha is more self serving then to alert the public. Does Hillary or Obama know what our Foreign Policies is, not what they want it to be but what the actually policy is? I would hope our policy is different for every country in the world. Our soldiers do not need to know the policy, only the rules for engagement within their theater or mission.

What a cute little girl. Looks like she will have some nice hunting equipment heading her way. We did the same with the new born photos and I just love those photos. I didn't get cameo into mine though.
