The main reason NY hunters dislike ARs is they want to shoot their gun first and count (if there are fingers and toes available) the number of points on the 1.5yo they shot and used their wife's tag on because there are more drives to be done that day.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Didn't think people who posted on Internet forums still lived under rocks but I guess this post proves that. Multiple brands of stands and sticks.... no where near as cool as carrying a ladder stand on your head (or whatever that brilliant suggestion was posted earlier)... but then again I'm trying to convince some who take their own untried opinions as fact without justification beyond arrogance. Age is the dominant issue here and our winter severity also chimes in keeping bodies healthy and racks a little smaller. Don't worry about the area as much as the property that provides the lack of pressure and infiltration. Ne Ohio is lousy of the books but has had some of the largest racks taken/found. Who the heck puts their bucks in the NY or NE record books anyway (to keep things more local)? Bad data start point. Hunting a living deer based on observation versus hunting deer from a spot you (as a human) picked. Bucks aren't all hard horned yet- two weeks of weather and season changes and deer shifts to go and people know where they're headed. Lol. Seasonal know how is a great thing but it does not replace most recent information. If you're a Bowhunter and don't even have wind correlation grasped yet it's time to pick up a book or two. I work a chit ton of hours and have family and personal commitments that choke my time to nothing. Take your time, gather your facts and move with intent.
