Thanks for the update though I really don't see the correlation. Conservation trespassing, baiting, improper tag use/reporting are the core issues. I have a ?1957 superposed lightning 12 sk/sk I bought (in rough shape) to refinish that I no longer have interest in. The gun has had the blowing removed and the wood needs to be totally refinished. Some pitting on the recover edges, tang and trigger. If it was in good shape it would be a 1500$ gun...it needs a lot of love to get there. A few hours and you could have a respectable bird/clays gun that is built like a tank. Obviously we have the FFL and legal path to follow if you want it.
