i've found biggest thing is scent. you wear gloves or wipe down cams before you walk away?
-
i'm definitely doing it.... maybe tonight if i have time.

i was just going to get some cotton balls and more permethrin to put in TP rolls around the property for mice. i was just at the store a couple weeks ago getting pelletized Triazicide for around the high traffic areas of the yard. little too late i guess.

Sunday was the race and I checked myself out really well that night. I must have picked it up after. I think it was probably from today but hard to be sure. Worst case i had it Monday evening. It's in relatively obvious spot though. Just got home from urgent care. Got tick in cup from doc with screw on lid for safe keeping. Dead now though. They dont send them out for testing. Adult female deer tick though so not great. Dose a doxycycline there and script for 6 more days of it. 7 days standard without Lyme confirmation versus 10 days to start. Need to go back to get Lyme titer/blood test in 4-6 weeks. Antibodies won't show and test won't work if done right when bit. There's I think 5 strands of Lyme and other infectious stuff you can get from them. Couple different tests one starts with an "e" and other is western bot. The latter one works better. That's what I've figured out so far. Seems like I'm crazy but can't be too lax about ticks. Lyme did some damage to my father in law back when he got it. Got ailments now and had to retire early from it. Basically added decades to his age, based on how he feels. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

little blood sucking SOB! I just found it on my leg behind the knee sitting here at my desk in my office. Didn't have my tick twister tool with me. Tried getting it out. head broke off. Here i was just going to do some tick prevention stuff when i got home. i went to an offroad dirtbike race Sunday. that evening i came home stripped down and checked myself. don't think it was on but i did have one crawling on me. not sure how long it's been on me after that or where i picked it up! little b*****d! looks like i'm heading to urgent care after i get my work done here. tonights a lost cause for getting anything done.

I miss typed it was a 2x4 all others except the racer were 4x4s. About that year too. It was a blue green color. High/low stick shifter on the left side. Burned up an oil pump riding wheelies with it despite it was a utility atv. Traded it in for the Honda. Dealer said he had never seen that many miles on a ATV before. Still worked alright though. Foreman was just more power and still a work horse. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

i'm not bothered at all by Trump backing out. it was a feel good BS waste of money where other countries seemed to be exploiting it. poor less powerful countries don't have the emissions we do, like not every family household has 3+ cars rolling the streets. they can import the same technology we have. so it's a silly idea investing money that way i feel. I do think he should make his reasons known though or at least more readily public knowledge. Terminator and other hate to say it Liberal folks are riding the action hard as if he clubs baby seals every morning before breakfast.

used to have lots of toys before and during college but now i've only got a sled. i've had a Suzuki Quadrunner 250 4x4, Honda Foreman 450, Yamaha Kodiak 400, and even the first ever race quad (Suzuki Quadracer LT250R). The 250R was pretty fast when you kept it running. no winch needed just maintain momentum, shift weight back, give to lots of throttle with a little clutch to get on the pipe, and hold on. Dad has a UTV and one atv left on the farm that i use on occasion. Brother has a Yamaha Bear Tracker 250 and Blaster 200.

Bushnell customer service...
dbHunterNY replied to growalot's topic in Hunting Gear Reviews and Gear Discussions
glad it worked out for you.... i always had good luck with WGI customer service including new cams as replacements but there cams sucked so much back then it didn't matter. I've got a few Bushnell Trophy HD cams but haven't had any issues yet. they work. -
Culvercreek hunt club has a birthday !

happy bday bob! -
i wished the season allowed you to hunt all day like many other states. during the week i work and too far away too early to get a hunt in before i head into the office. during the weekend in may there's a lot going on or vacation so it's tough to get out then too. so i hunt much less during turkey season. i wish i could've put that down as feedback.

was just at a dirtbike race. very wet out. in the woods not very long at all. otherwise in a wide open mowed field and mud. went home to take a shower. had one crawling on my arm. trying something new. will be hard to tell if it helps.

Better have fruit this year!!
dbHunterNY replied to Fletch's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
Don't know where they go had a huge swarm take up the whole driveway and then move on. Don't know of that's a good thing or not. I planted garden with plants tighter together this year. I wonder if putting in a wildflower bed between them or next to them would help? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk -

By far I send more stuff to DEC voluntarily then they actually randomly pick me. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

I've got an older HS Pro vest that i inspect but has passed the expiration date. I use it to now with a lineman's belt to hang stands. i wear a Muddy Safeguard for hunting. I can get to chest pockets and others easier and it's much lighter. all are attached with tree straps or life lines. ...all situations I mean. I've only got one harness in hunting rotation.

pray and follow the bible by all means if you want to meet God, but know that not wearing a safety harness could get you there a whole lot faster. No need to rush it.

Somewhat local brew. I think my brother said it might have been rejects that was given to him. Wasn't bad though. Went down more than fine. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Shot at a local rod and gun club yesterday. Here's a pic. It was wet but the sun soon came through the canopy and it warmed up. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
