First fatal shot in our group always gets the deer.Now if a deer crosses 2 hunters and the first gut shoots,ass shot or anything like that then the next hunter is in line.I applaud the 2 hunters to settle it with a coin toss but I would want more info before I made a decision on who's deer I think it was

Then why when the reporter called the DEC to confirm it would they not give any response to he reporter?If the hunters called the DEC and had the go ahead from Jim Bob the DEC officer and the reporter called the DEC to corroborate the story then they should give them some sort of info saying yes we said its ok.Instead they say nothing so when the backlash starts they have the open door to back up and say we didn't say it was ok for anyone to shoot the buffalo.Now do I believe the DEC said it was ok?yea I do.Do I believe that the owner of the Buffalo can or would bring up charges for destruction of personal property?Yea I could see some people doing that.I have no idea how much $$$ a buffalo cost to raise but I bet it isn't cheap.

I think the hunters will get the shaft on this one,once someone realizes their prized livestock buffalo was killed by local hunters.I see a fine and a lawsuit coming!!

I didn't think I "body slammed him" I disagree that it is anything but a coyote,a very big coyote at that and a real trophy.Everyone(including myself)can and will have their own opinions,because opinions are like....well you know!!And the Elk comment I only said I would love to be the first guy to kill a NYS elk,I didn't say I wanted to take one illegal,I felt he was implying that or that anyone in NYS would because some people do take animals out of season or without tags.I know I wouldn't.So if he wants to lump me into that category he is lumping anyone else here in that category also.I have no clue if there is a wild population of Elk in NY but it totally is plausible with PA having a transplanted herd.Now if I could be the first guy to shoot Sasquatch....then that would be something!!!HAHAHA
