Inland M1 carbine for Deer? .30 carbine ammo
tuckersdaddy replied to Deerstalker's topic in Rifle and Gun Hunting
no pickier then any other gun... mine does group better with some ammo then others, but thats typical of any gun. ive had no failers to feed or fire.. As far as a hunter goes ive had 2 pile on the spot with it... all about shot placement. My favorite part of the mini is since i shoot left handed os the garand style safety. the only advantage of the 3030 over the 45 70 is its lighter dragging it around the woods. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Trouble shooting my 30-06. 308 less kick?

One more thing to condsider is does your rifle fit you? Length of pull can have a huge effect on where the but get placed on your shoulder. I have a Rem 7600 in an '06 and between the light weight and poor fitmet i simply cant shoot it. Now my big bores, 45-70, 444 marlin and my previous 50 beawolf all are managable because the guns simply fit better. Adjustable stocks, or shims on the recoil pads can make a big difference particularly when you start adding clothing on for the hunt. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk -

if your into reloading Hornady makes an XTP forthat round. The right ammo, range, and shot placement you will be fine. Most any neck shot will pile then on the spot. Just remenber that round killed allot of Germans and Japs with standard ball ammo. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk -
make sure shes not overdressed before you head out. Dress very light for the walk in. If shes over dressed on the walk in she will sweat and nothing but a hot shower and a glass of wine by the fire place will get her warm again. Dress light and a heavy sleeping bag...Great suggestion. There are lots of options for you. Try a 7.62 by 39... There are bolts, single shots and NY legal semi avalible. ammo is easy to find and inexpensive. I do have a mini 30 and have dropped deer on the spot with well placed shots, and the recoil is light. another option is a pistol round. I also have a 44 mag carbine that is light on the shoulder but a hammer on the other end. The only draw back of these 2 is your range limited to 100yrds to be safe, the 44 begins to drop like a rock further out and the 7.62 starts loosing alot of energy. If your in the neighborhood and want to take them for a test shoot give me a hollar... the range is just a few miles down the road. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk -
I had a great encounter with a guy at the gas station Saturday night which gets to the point of anti AR argument. This guy was a bit younger probably early 20s looked in the back of my truck and saw a the doe i shot.. He congradulated me was all excited. The doe wasnt that great big, 2.5yr but after last season i was very thankful. So returning the favor he comented his was in the back of his, so being curtious i went over to look and it was a 1.5yr with 4in spike. He was beeming ear to ear showing it off. I congradulated him, and waved as I left. So whos right is it of you me or anyone else to deny this guy his current high point of his hobby by telling him he was wrong for shooting it? Dont know his story or background.. maybe hes new to the sport, maybe it was his first oppertunity at horns who knows, but he payed for his liscense he deserved to have his happiness. This is what makes you one the most ignorant jackasses i actually acknowlege... Trump never stated get them all out...That was the press. His statement was if your discoved... your gone. no mass deportation, just folloow the law on the books. He has always said the wall needs to reinforced in some areas, possibly just a fence in others. The good part of obummer care. Yes we have to keep the portion that states if you have insurance you cannot be denied by another. unfortunatly this is because companies through no fault of the subscriber, are bailing on obama care which without this provision would keep anyone with more then a cough from getting insurance elsewhere. The Times is a long standing icon of journalism. Too bad its death is self imposed. As far as Hillary... he did what he intended to do to her.. he destroyed her. whats the sence in pouring salt in that wound and keeping her relavant? Besides she knows to much. Expect a malfunction of some kind the next time her and willie fly over the pick an ocean. And with all institutions of learning.. Students get what they what they put in. If anyone thought they would be a the next greatest thing just because they had a Trump diploma.. Theyre money would have been just as wasted at Yale or Alfred... Now stop whinning that Trump IS the next president... It apears hunting hasnt calmed you down...try grabing a pole..maybe fishing will help. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Obamas next job

Now back to the Chi town slums is where he should go... but not why you would think... Former dem presidents have done some great work.... Carter was the face of habitat for humanity, Clinton dumped a lot of money into harlem, why shouldnt Barry go back to Chicago an transform the old hood into a livable community? Carters legacy was what he did after the oval office, maybe Barry should take his lead... Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk -

find a deli or grocery store going out of buisness and try to pick up the real deal such as a hobart. i have several different 'home' slicers, some old style some new, and quite honestly they dont cut it. many reasons from lack of power to lack of blade size. most dont have enough space between the blade edge and arbor to cut semi frozen meat, or they lack the power to cleanly slice thawed meat. Anything fatty such as pepperoni just becomes a balled up mess. you will be happier with a good knife. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
