  1. bowaholic...It looks like it's heading to the County levels now...This was posted on Facebook by Gun Rights Across America - NY: The Rally is over and we have about a week to catch our breath before the next actions ramp up. We CANNOT let up on this for a minute! Operation Sheriff Reach is March 13th, and once that is completed, we will be going forward with state-wide County Rallies, so get ready, Organizers! Mike will be posting and up-dated list tonight with the counties still in need of Organizers, and we need to pay special attention to the ones that have not yet adopted a resolution against the Safe Act. The County-Wide Rallies are tentatively scheduled for March 23rd and will be a combined effort of the Pro-2A Groups United, Lisa Donovan's Page, GRAANY and NYSRPA. Speaking of Counties, I would like to take a moment to thank those of you who had my back in the Hudson Alderman issue. As a Citizen's Advocate and Incumbent Watcher, I am accustomed to Hate Mail and lots of derision, so this outpouring of support from the BEST that NY has to offer, was not only a surprise, but an inspiration to keep me fighting by your sides. This story has gone NATIONAL, and even Breitbart wants to talk! So that's in our favor! Congressman Chris Gibson called me at the end of the Rally to Thank GRAANY for supporting the 2A and to express his outrage with the Hudson Officials. Another pleasant surprise! So even though my car was towed during the rally and it cost me $165.00 to get it back, it's all good ! LOLOL! Hey, there were NO No Parking signs and we PAID for parking, so go figure. I would be willing to bet that our Governor gave orders for as much towing as possible to go on, since it was the Capitol State Police who had the cars towed, NOT the Albany P.D. I want to mention the good folks who came to our rescue at the last minute to provide some Patriotic music for the rally. Ed Sarro was the DJ that provided the music and stood in ankle-deep mud to do it. Thank you Ed, and we will remember you when we or anyone we know, needs a good DJ! Also, to Lisa, Bill and Doug who offered music, Thank You! Tom King and company, you guys did a great job putting this rally together and you beat the Jan. 19 numbers by 50 to 100% !!! We are growing, we are united, we are being heard across the country and we are determined ! We also happen to be RIGHT and have the LAW on our side! So NO SURRENDER!

  3. Congratulations!!!...I'd love one for myself cause I find myself rushing deer over to the processors a lot in recent and they don't let them hang...at all! I'd really like to see them hang for a few days but they usually call me the next day saying it's done and if you take one in that you hung yourself they don't like it because it has to get cut up before the one that is still dripping blood in the pickup...Unfortunately I don't have time to do it myself.
  4. My wife bought me one for Christmas 2 years ago and I haven't had time to use it much yet. There is an old foundation on our property that dates back to the late 1700's and I'm dying to get in there with the metal detector,. There is also an old road that used to be one of the main roads in to Watertown that runs by this foundation...I wonder how many coins could have been dropped on that old road?!?!?!?!?
  5. Biden is only in that position to protect the President...No one is going to do anything to Obama as long as this d!psh!t is next in line...Even the radical crazy guys that want to do it for their love of an actress are avoiding this one!
  6. The sugar content was probably too high. The Liberals are slowly taking over our country by spreading their agenda through the national media that they own and by infiltrating our schools with their hate...I just read an article yesterday where some rich Libtard is buying up all of the Conservative and pro 2nd Ammendment media outlets to shut them down...Folks this is only the beginning, we've got to start fighting back! Think about it, this country is being run by a handful of Billionaires that want to push their way of thinking on all of us.
  7. Back in the late 70's I was hunting Grouse (I was a toddler with great skills) on our family's property I came across an Elcomino parked on one of our farm roads...I walked up and saw a Guy and his wife goin at it with their 2 year old son playing on the floorboard under the dash...I reached up (remember I was a toddler) and tapped on the window (not right away mind you) and asked them why they were there...Seems Baby Daddy and Baby Momma were still living with Baby Daddy's Momma and this looked like a good place for some shaggin...I explained to them it was not a good place for shaggin cause I got caught there myself, so they got their clothes on and left...Danged City People!
  8. In an interesting turn of events, the bus trip and rally fell the day after Mr. Cuomo told reporters that lawmakers will consider amending the act to add an exception for movie and television productions. It’s not yet clear whether amendments for the entertainment industry would apply to “phony,” or prop, guns or whether any changes will even be made. Residents waiting for the bus found a high degree of irony in the governor’s comments. “He did this whole thing to prevent gun violence and now he’s out there promoting it,” said Timothy H. Fralick. http://www.watertowndailytimes.com/article/20130301/NEWS03/702289807
  9. Dang you weren't to far from me...I was dead center in the crowd near the round flower garden thingy...LOL! I did get some crowd pics and one 360 degree video... <iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/video/embed?video_id=10151340310711242" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0"></iframe>
  10. I was interviewed by our local paper as I was boarding the bus to Albany yesterday and unfortunately I was misquoted...What I said was "Cuomo pushed this law through to curb gun violence, but now is making changes to allow Hollywood to film movies and tv shows that depict and promote gun violence, it's ridiculous."
  11. I just clicked on the link and it opened right up for me...Never heard of the site before but it worked for me.
  12. It's sponsored by the NYSRPA and their site is up and running and promoting the rally...They have held this rally for 5 years running, this one just has more purpose! http://www.nysrpa.org/
  13. Best advice I can give you is don't get discouraged if you don't kill one the first few years...It's hard enough to kill them with a shotgun and darned near impossible with a bow, especially if you've never hunted turkeys before...They have eye sight like you would not believe and can detect the slightest bit of movement...I would suggest getting a hub style blind to bow hunt from to minimize their chances of busting you moving...Get them in close, aim for the wing butt (right where it attaches to the body) for a clean kill...Good Luck! Oh great choice on the bow...
  14. Just signed up for a bus from Watertown since my passenger decided to bale on me...2 buses from Watertown and one from Lowville will be getting a police escort from Lowville by the Lewis County Sheriff all the way to Albany...A reporter from our local news WWNY Chanel 7 will be riding down with us...This is going to be a blast!
  15. That'll get your blood pumpin...Nice!
  16. That was alright...What broadhead are you using? Nice shot by the way...
  17. That's a very unique rack on that deer but it does make a very nice mount!...The room is very nice also!
  18. Ah...Didn't realize you were letting them green up...I "A$$umed" you were just knocking them down to get rid of them...Sorry.
  19. You got a lot done!!!...The critters are going to love you for it... I think I would have notched that first one so it wouldn't have "barber chair'd" like that...But then again I notch just about every tree I cut...
