    Beer

JDubs, where do you run to for all that beer? I am going through Buffalo tomorrow and Sunday, would not mind stopping off somewhere with a great selection. Very Limited here in the Cuse, other than Wegmans.
  2. I was Salamander on Channel 17. We had a 20’ antenna on the roof, I talked to people all over the US.
  3. I have heard great things about the Franklin, I am definite going to give it a try. All my old time Italian friends say it is the best around.
  4. Nice looking dog, congrats! What did you name it? Bird Down! Fetch it up!
  5. I have a business trip in Lancaster next week, just realized the Harrisburg show is same week! I will be going for at least a part of a day, even though I know it wont be nearly enough time. How is it organized? Hunting booths all together, fishing in another area? With limited time I want to be sure to cover the highlights.
  6. Had to be outside today, such a gorgeous day. Caught these in our pond. Also got a perch and a 14" bass. I stocked the bass last year, but the perch and crappie got there on their own! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

    Broken Antlers

    That’s what she said....
  8. Honestly, we hardly ever eat it the day we make it. Like most soups and stews, they are better the next day! But an hour or so of simmering should be good. If it’s too spicy, the mashed potatoes will calm it down a little. I don’t think a longer simmer time will ease the spiciness, it might make it worse. You can always add more stock or water too.
  9. That might have been me from a previous post because it is one of our all time favorite meals. I do not vary too much from this recipe though, and if you follow it closely, it is not HOT, only a bit spicy. I usually serve it over mashed potatoes. We just had it the other night as a matter of fact. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/emeril-lagasse/venison-stew-3644836
  10. So, what is it? Looks like some sort or rare geological formation.
  11. I stand corrected. Thanks. I personally have never been charged, even walking into a bank where i did not have an account.
  12. There is never a charge for notary service. It’s the law.
  13. I had a timber company approach me a couple of years ago about logging a part of my property. I decided to call FORECON located in Cortland, NY. (They advertise in NY Outdoor News). They came out and did a survey of the timber, solicited several bids, and handled all the contracting, insurance, etc. I’m glad I did because i got quite a bit more than the timber company was offering. I’m not sure if they go out to WNY but it might be worth a call. http://www.foreconinc.com/
  14. I’ve been to Quebec several times for fishing only. Hoping to go again this summer, if anyone wants to tag along or share. July/August time frame. I have not selected the location yet, and would be open to a new location too.
  15. Here's another favorite, Hot Breads. Homemade bread right out of the oven, cut in half, drizzled in evoo, salt, pepper, provolone cheese if you like, or an Italian deli selection like salami, soppresetta, prosciutto.... Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  16. I found that spice online, have yet to order it though. It wont be 100 percent like Yelling Goat, but I think they will still be awesome.
  17. Italian Chicken Pastina Soup....it is our family tradition for when you have a cold or your arrival meal at home after a long trip or time away.

    Beer

I didn’t like my first few glasses, but it definitely has grown on me. Not a beer to be drunk out of the can though, i like it best in a glass......let it breathe like a fine wine.
  19. Just got back from Ohio for their black powder season. I was very happy to take a doe on opening day Saturday. Another hunter in our party took a nice 10 Point and a doe as well. Overall a very successful trip with great memories and fun. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

    Beer

I tried the Riesling beer, and it was not a favorite. But the Lt Dan deserves a promotion! Love it
  21. Hey Lefty, I am too. Almost pulled the trigger on a David Pendersoli but opted out at the last second. I can order it from Cablelas and use up a bunch of points. I have a Thompson Triumph now and would like to add a more traditional muzzleloader to the arsenal. Any suggestions would be appreciated! The Lyman looks like a nice gun too
  22. I did use tree guards and that seemed to help in the first year success rate. Plus we had a wet spring and early summer, that helped too.
