Your odds of drawing are so remote that the argument is moot....Better chance of hitting the lottery for a million or so... If you want to hunt elk, go OUT WEST and hunt them in the Rocky Mountains, and quit trying to draw an incredibly impossible tag to shoot one in someone's back yard down in Pennsylvania...

About 100 years ago, a fellow named WDM Bell killed a few hundred elephants with a 7x57, which is essentialy ballistically equivalent to the 7MM08.....

I love that bullet in my 7MM08....I used to shoot 140 Nosler BTs....Switched to the Barnes 120 and it kills just as well with more penetration and less meat damage...

Bless yore heart, Wolc… I never do any illegal either....Glad there are a COUPLE of us good guys left.... Of course, I must admit that I got a ticket for an unsafe tire back in 1968...The guilt from that STILL haunts me....<<sob>>…... Probably a fish that was injured, possibly caught and released by a fisherman who hoped/ assumed it would live... Hard to believe even an eagle could catch a perfectly healthy muskie that size, unless it was floating and already struggling for its life...

I wasn't implying that you shouldn't control them....Using whatever methods that are necessary... I would have felt the same way about Apaches during the 1880s, when they were busy having their fun butchering and torturing people...

Reminds me of a movie quote from " Ulzana's Raid" one of the best westerns involving Apaches I have seen. The quote from scout Burt Lancaster could very well be referring to coyotes, rather than Apaches... " Hating Apaches because they are cruel is like hating the desert because there ain't no water...".....

I used to be STRONGLY right handed.... Then I hurt my right wrist , and being a teenager , I had to self gratify myself with my left hand... WHAT a REVELATION !! It felt like SOMEBODY ELSE was doing it....How COOL !!! I am currently ambidextrous...

My maternal grandfather was an ornery old Frenchman..He smoked and drank heavily all of his life and worked daily all his life and died in his sleep at 83.. My Mom made it to 85 and took care of her own place right up until the end.. Most of the males in my Dad's family died in their early 70s, but they were all lifelong smokers..My one remaining uncle is 85 now and still smoking like a chimney.... I'll be 70 in March..If I make to 80 without any major issues, I'll consider myself lucky...
