I was all set well before first light in westchester this morning - dont you know that 3-6 deer come spilling through 25-40 yards out. It was still so dark that I could make out an accurate tally. All I know is I AM CURSED! Beats working Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

Sat from 1- dark today in westchester- nada! Warm this evening- just before dark the wind picked up to a howl just to add more misery to my SLOW deer-less season-tomorrow am is most likely my last shot due to family plans - LOTS OF HAIL MARY'S TONIGHT! May bring the Rosary on stand tomorrow!

Having never been behind the wheel of any heavy machinery, I am always so impressed by operators who make it look so easy - s/he picked up that second log with such ease after moving one out of the way.

Slow...tracks and sign everywhere but no sightings - not even when I purposely walked through thick areas that usually hold some deer - cant ge a bead on them at all

Driving to hunt westchester this afternoon, I notice snow cover on some lakes and reservoirs. My question is what does that do to ice formation? Will snow on skim ice slow ice production due to the insulating properties of snow?
