The land is 60 acres. The guy rents an apartment in another house down the street(still within visual of property). The guy who is leasing owns a mess of land that he parcels out to various people. Even if we tell the owner to take care of this guy, what's the point-he is gonna hunt it Anyway since the owner is not there all the time and has man parcel to "monitor"-aka.collect money from. Sold bad goods..no honest deal out there

So, my partner was up at our new lease today just showing his wife and two kids. They pulled up a fairly remote driveway that is part of the boundary and some guy pulls in behind him and tells him that he hunts on our lease all the time and he rents from the guy we leased the land from. My buddy made it clear we had exclusive rights according to the lease but this guy seemed unphased. Here's the options..try to keep this guy close(let him know when we are coming and tell him not to be there then ) Or force him off totally. Problem is, we are 1:30 away and can't be there often...he is gonna hunt it anyway. The whole purpose of a lease is to have no problems with people who should not be there. What would you do?

Send your first one to that old vet in Florida....let him put that in his flower pot!

17 west was riddled with dead doe on my way to and from IthAca this past weekend.

I learned that I have too much work, nott enough time, live too far away from hunting ground, coach too many sports/teams, need to save sick days for turkey season! Can't fail if I can't get there!

My helpers are less subtle, tearing clumps of grass and stink up my area after they dump my pails, driving my dog insane- SKUNK

Clarence Fahnstock state park off the Taconic...semi-remote tent site, fishing lake with bass, pickerel, blue gills(peloton pond)....-across the street is Canopus Lake which is split in two- one side with a pretty clean swimming beach(lifeguards, snack shack, bathrooms with showers) other side has good shore fishing and John boat rentals. Tons of walking trails (some are part of Appalachian trail) and even some playgrounds for kids I think and a little nature museum....50 minutes or so from NYC

Heading up to Cornell tomorrow for the state golf tournament and will be stopping in roscoe on the way to hit the Beaverkill and Willowemoc. After my high school golfers rounds on Sunday, I hope to hit ithica Falls - anyone have any idea on access points or success?

So I cooked up the pheasant back mushrooms tonight in a pan of butter and olive oil. They were absolutely in edible! I could not chew through them...flavor was pretty good but still hit the bottom of the pail!

Yeah I'm pretty sure my first effort is a bust- after a week sitting with all the ingredients there seems to be nothing happening. I ASSumed regular yeast was fine since I couldn't be bothered trying to find other yeast...seems like that's a big mistake - I thought this was some easy, dare I say "hillbilly" concoction (I say that with great admiration for those who can live off the land!) that would not require special ingredients . Find a local NVHDA ...Nation versatile hunting dog association. Dog owners training their own dogs as a "community" I don't knw where you are located but the one I was with worked out of Stewart lands.

So I have a gallon worth of the flower part only (no stems) steeping in a pot of boiled water. The rope I found calls for sugar, lemon, orange and then some yeast.... I am looking for more specific info about bottling and quantities f ingredient per quantity of liquid remaining after it steeps. In other words, I jumped into this whole heartedly and half assed!!! Any real recipes/advice will help
