Not a peep. Unfortunately, that’s typical though. The tom I’m after usually doesn’t come through here until ~7:30-10:00, IF he comes at all. Hope I can hold out that long. Tweaked back + minimal turkey hunting desire = restless Cabin Fever! The Thermacell is keeping the skeeters at bay anyways!! Working from home today and got a pic at 9:59am from my cell cam, located ~125 yards from my house! LOL Big friggin' bird!! Been playing cat and mouse with this MOFO all season! My blind is right in the corner of the the field! He's passes by there quite frequently mid-morning. Might have to pack a breakfast (or 3 ) of these days and sit out there all morning.

Heard one gobbling on the next property over. He gobbled ~8x, then shut up when I assume he flew down. Just had no interest in coming over. I sat until 7:00, but packed up and headed out to start working. (OK, working from home, but sitting on my deck AND listening for any gobbling also... ) Had a big ass coyote at 30 yards looking at me and pacing back and forth in a freshly plowed field at 5:10am. Kind of eerie!

All the bucks I've gotten pics of so far just have nubs. Got pics of this buck a few days ago. Looks promising, unless he was just an early bloomer.

First morning I’ve heard gobbling! They gobbled from 5:15-5:45, but nothing since. The bad part is nothing close and all on property I don’t have permission to hunt. Hoping something will head our way... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sat in the corner of a field this morning from 5:00-6:30 without hearing or seeing a thing. No surprise, as I haven't seen or heard a thing yet all season! I really wanted to get home to wash and wax my truck and clean the inside, as I haven't cleaned it since muzzleloader season closed. Before I left, I hung 2 new cell cams that I received yesterday near the blind to test them out. At 7:39am, less than an hour after I left, I got a new pic notification of pic of a tom walking past my blind!! I grumbled, but kept washing the truck! At 9:30am, I got another notification of a new cell pic and either the same tom or a different one was walking past my blind AGAIN!! WTF!! Oh well, at least I have a shiny truck... I had a pic of a tom yesterday morning exiting my yard at 7:30am, that was only ~100 yards from where this tom was at in front of my blind, so I'm taking my son to the blind tomorrow, hoping the tom will continue with his pattern from the past couple of days. Hopefully I can call him in for my son...

Guessing it was fertilizer, as everything in the field is still tall, green and lush. Hoping he gets corn in there this year though...

The previous homeowner cut ~200 ash trees in the yard last summer. Unfortunately, all I was left with was grinding the stumps, so yes I counted! There was ~50 left, but many were showing signs of dying, so I cut down another 20 or so this spring. By the looks of the rest, I'll probably cut them next winter... The neighbors property is mainly ash and looks terrible.... Very sad!
