Delivered today! Got her seasoned and ready to get dirty! That side table model caught my eye, as I lack table space on the deck. When not in use, it folds down and out of the way.

You guys have made my mouth water long enough with these delicious looking concoctions, so I caved and ordered a Blackstone Culinary Series for myself!

This is something I've been thinking about doing for the past week! I cut it all down last year, but of course new sprouts came up. Like you said, it's the only thing that is green right now too, so that will help target it. Just about everything I've seen or read said to cut it down, then treat the stumps with gly? So you're saying to just spray the shrubs themselves to kill it? How much gly do you put per gallon to knock it out? I'm hoping for a one and done treatment...

I went out on the deck at daylight to listen for gobbling, but realized it was raining! A couple hours later, I noticed a turkey in the clover plot out back. I like when they just come to me! LOL

We stayed next to Jackson Square, just a block or two from Bourbon St. There were things going on in Jackson Square every day (music, art, crafts, etc...). There's a nice walking path along the river. We hit Bourbon St mainly during the day. You are 100% correct though that it smells like puke and piss!! They were out every morning hosing the sidewalk and street off, but it still stunk!! Sure is an "interesting" crowd at night! Didn't exactly feel safe!! We checked that one off our bucket list anyways, but have no desire to return! Been there, done that!! Cafe du Monde is good for breakfast and coffee. If you're into it, try a couple places for crawfish boils! I liked them so much, I found a place down there that ships live crawfish overnight, so I had 10lbs delivered and I put on a crawfish boil for my family. Sad to see all the homeless around on the streets, begging for money.

I think they would have made nice house warming gifts for the new homeowners!

There's a big fertilizer place in Phelps, where I've gotten fertilizer in past year. They have even mixed some up to what I specifically needed. I just called them to see if they have any of the 34-0-0 that you need. She said this isn't something typical they mix. She said they have 43-0-0, which is pretty much straight urea. They should have it in 50lb bags late next week. She said she doesn't have a price yet for 50lb bags, but to expect it to double from last year. From past dealings with them, they have always been quite a bit cheaper than buying from a store. It might be a hike for you to Phelps. If you're interested, I drive right by the place 2-3x/week and can pick it up for you and we can meet up somewhere for you to get it. This is the place and contact info.
