Yes it is the responsibility of the owner because it is his property. You are responsible for upkeep of your land. I could just as easily say that a person is being lazy for not posting their land and complaining when people trespass. Do I actually think its out of laziness? of course not. everyone has their reasons and do things in their own time if they feel the need. I was born and raised in the city and the first time I stepped foot in the woods to hunt and actually take it all in was last year. I hunt state land and research to the best of my ability the land that I walk. But after a year even with a GPS at BEST I have a general sense of my exact location when in the woods if I cant find a well defined point of reference. lakes work but they NEVER look like the map exactly. for the LIFE of me I cant understand how someone could know every inch of their property line when they have hug properties. If its all private land and they are locals you got a leg to stand on. but if you are bordering state land and you feel like its this city guys job to know your property then man you are screwed cause I love the woods but I get lost everytime I go and if it wasn't for my compass / Map / GPS and once my dog who led me out of the woods by sniffing the trail we walked, right past the GPS that I dropped on the ground (love that dog) I would have been sleeping under the stars freaking out and hungry more times than I care to count

typo.... little screen big fingers on a bus going home

Makes me love my recurve even more. I would personally hate to draw a compound with a arrow in it and accidentally loose the arrow without aiming it. depending on where you shoot (indoor / outdoor) I would think it would be better to not always use an arrow

I disagree that it should be my responsibility to know the exact spot in the woods where your property line starts. I hunted public land all last year and it aint always easy to see where one line starts and another begins when lookin at a map. I shot my first deer last year and it wandered on private land after bad shot and being inexperienced I kept pushing it. the land was marked so I stopped. couldn't figure out how to get the property owners so I chalked it up to a lesson learned. if I saw the deer in sight I and couldn't get access to the owners I probably would just go get my deer rather than waist the meet. I do kinda like the purple paint idea but i think having your name and address on it is a must.

pretty sure its bow only for bear right now. didn't think you could use crossbow right now but I guess I was mistaken so I might be wrong about rifle as well

its a tool, I see why they say its illegal but from what I read they aren't even sure its a cause of CWD

was thinking of getting a cam and using a head mount, but don't want to spend the cash to find out its a pain to use on my head with a cap on. saw a guy with one rigged to the brim of his baseball cap and I thought that was cool. maybe a clip for your cap could work.

no gnaw marks, just looked like the bark was scraped off with something. stuck a camera near it. wil check it next week, if nothing comes in on it I guess I will just move on. was a good ways off a trail maybe 50 yards or so and there was some droppings right near it.

I agree with just about everything in the vid except you really have to address everything together. crime, education, and parenting/family. as far zero tolerance, some people make mistakes and should be given a chance to succeed in life, any would change if presented with a viable choice, problem is their arnt many choices for someone with no education. as far as parenting and family, i blame the welfare system for not properly identifying abusers but many have used it as a stepping stone. as far as education... creating a safe environment in and around schools so kids feel safe is a huge part and drug free zones don't cut it. when the norm in an area is to be dysfunctional the good kids stand out and become targets and often times it goes back home to their neighborhoods. I am a HUGE believer in charter schools, no unionized teachers so bad teachers arnt teaching their long, love the idea of school uniforms, and bad children stand out like a soar thumb and are often removed if they don't conform. From what I have seen they don't act as day cares and are actually learning institutions. do they have issues sure, but so does public school on a larger scale.

9 year old girl accidentally kills gun instructor

Internet, blessing and a curse. you have an unfortunate incident that in the past would have been a tragedy for a town. Now it becomes a tragedy for a nation. drama sells, you never see stories about positive things people do but the minute someone dies its a media frenzy. and some fool in a suit tries to capitalize on it -

My opinion below... Part of the problem is to many people fear weapons and have lost respect for them. Through that fear and the actions of a handful of bad people. I new NOTHING about firearms until i went to the military and still didnt have the RESPECT i have for them till i sat in hunters ed classes and started hunting. People have moved away from simple basics common sense. Teaching kids in school about the good and bad a weapon can do from a young age is something that should be done in a country with the right to bear arms. Instead seeds of fear for weapons and only cops and bad people have guns is the message of the day. -

For my kids its not really age. Starting my kids on archery and how to have respect for. A bow, then moving up to a crossbow. When they can handle that and prove to be responsible enogh they get introduced to the next level. -

Exactly the point i made to my wife. She then made the comment maybe its better for only cops to have guns. I proceeded to google stories of officers and soldiers killing innocent people including there own kids. Crazy and stupid people do tragic things. People need to use common sense -

was thinking the same thing. my wife got a hold of this and now the gun debate is back on to each his own but I wouldn't have started my kid out on something like that -
