When I was 2/3 with a rage hypo I wa shooting a 415 grain arrow 270 fps with a Hoyt charger. The shoulder blade stopped the one shot. The other two were lung liver, and lung heart pse throughs. All shots around 20 yards.

I prefer to check my cams with someone else and we just talk and don't try to be sneaky. The deer always come back but there used to people i guess as ones a x-mas tree farm and the other is a urban hunting area. The urban area i can hunt in jeans and a t-shirt washed in Tide soap and they still wouldn't care.

After shooting rage for a few years id suggest upping your arrow weight, i was 2/3 with them however if you hit shoulder blade your going to want that momentum, and KE will mean nothing. I shoot NAP sling blades which take less to open and can swivel around bone, 4/4 last year. Elite energy 335 ibo (390 grain arrow 27.5 inch draw puts me around 285 fps.)

That's progress man! i have a whole mess of 1.5 and 2.5 year old's on one property this year (rural as in 200 yards behind my house and visit my backyard frequently), but also have 3 on another property that are at least 4.5 years old and its going to be a mean rut i'm hoping with those 3 4.5 year old's all in the same area.

I have nothing to give away unfortunately, however secured some land in the DMFA and can use any unwanted 7r tags before the special season of someone isint going to use them.

I like 18 for bow hunting, if i'm gun hunting with my climber ill go up higher. maybe 25 ish

Idk what part of the state you hunt but they appear to be some solid 2.5 year olds!

Cabelas has them for 69.99, but just had a sale for 34.99 the was like 2 weeks long. fetched 6 packs. ive used them with success before.

i have 2 heads dedicated to practice. I tuned my bow and now them an FP are identical 20-30-40. will shoot a few the 30th again to be assured before i go out in the morning.

Walk around with them in some mud and other crap you find out there, leave them outside to air out if you can. It helped mine.

Ive made it a habit of flexing each arrow and checking the nocks after ever shot walking back from the target after ive seen some shooting accidents online!

Heading tot he indoor shooting rage today with a couple guys to embarrass them again. They have elevated shooting area as well. All jokes aside they have 20 3d targets 15-40 yards and ill make them choose the first one and use it as my shot that counts today.

Went to indoor 3D range today, of course forgot to take pics. Picked out a random animal, happened to be a mountain lion and shot it in the 12 ring from 32 yards(estimated) annnnnd forgot my phone in the truck to take a pic. Shot 20 3D targets 15-40 yards, all vital hits, 2 I was not thrilled with outside the 8 ring.

Just spoke with the neighbor, that's not even the big one. There is a symmetrical 12 point that's got the same frame with longer times. He showed me a photo but asked not to share it. It gave my goosebumps.

I made some Stupid shots at deer when i was younger, not once did i ever give up on finding them ( and didn't find a few), but we all do know that guy that gives up after 20 minutes of looking.

American whitetail in any caliber is a good choice, im not going to use my shotgun this year since Broome county went to rifle. I Bought a .243 but im going to use Winchester 95 BT in that. My .308 i use the hornaday.

I by 3 boxes at a time then use a 10 off 50 coupon. 18 arrows for $50 leaves me lots of money to spend on other gear.

I've been ready for months! But I washed my stuff again because I forgot if I already did. Duh. Bow can't shoot any better. Hitting one inch circles with bh 15-40 yards. Stands all set, deer pounding my kill plots by my stands. -
Up your arrow weight is the easiest solution I see, up front if your spine is stiff enough.

I'm just the opposite, I now consider it my lucky arrow! Even sharpen the blades and use it again before using another arrow. I'm the broken pieces are in my garage hanging up with photos still covered in blood.

I paid 15 dollars for 3 nocturnals ebay and get my arrows at dicks for $40 a dozen!
