  1. I almost hit one on Woodbury road 2 weeks ago
  2. I'm in cold spring harbor, deer every where.
  3. Almost every deer I gut on my property in western Sullivan County has a belly full of corn.There isnt a corn field any where near me, So yes people are baiting.
  4. All the action was from dawn to around 10am.
  5. Missed a chip shot at a 6 ptr but 20 min later this little guy comes in
  6. Just had a doe run past me, never had a chance to draw back at 12 yards.
  7. Strapped in here in Suffolk county. Saw 2 small bucks driving in today and jumped one walking to my stand, should be an active day.
  8. They just caught the POS, Should have been shot on site. But alls clear in northeastern PA.
  9. If I read it correctly, Its 250 feet from a dwelling with a cross bow and 150 feet with a compound/long bow. Just double check DEC regs
  10. BTW,Just be forwarned. The Ticks on L.I. are out of control. Take every precaution.
  11. I would check with the NYS DEC website, Plenty of state land in Rocky Point,As well as other state land locations in other parts of Suffolk. The check station is located in Ridge.
  12. Had 3 does app. Me dead down wind, got to within 50 yards and the noses went up, gone. an hour later a buck comes in, nose to the ground and hits that down wind spot and trots off, at least it's action

  18. Well here's one method, I placed a red tape ,about 3 feet long, on a branch next to a tree I use as a stand location. The sole purpose of the tape is to help me find that tree in the dark pre dawn hours. I arrive one morning to find the ground pawed out beneath it.
