Looks good considering were in a drought right now. The streams on my side john have dried up,Never saw that before. -
Just kicked up a bear walking up a ridge line, saw me before I saw him. That was close, no chance for a shot, he was going like sea biscuit as he ran away.

Ny times had an article last year about turkey's in Manhattan. Locals are up in arms over this "serious" problem. Their demanding the city do something about this . "The children, what about the children". It was hysterical to read, city people..smh.

Damn,I live 3 minutes from the Paramount. I would have went. Yes, He has some issues and a past. However, He is a positive spokesmen for the the right to bear arms and gives an educated response to anti's who are trying to take your right to hunt away. As far as what the "General Public" thinks,Those same people think Obama is a God. He does a ton of work for Wounded Warriors and Vet groups.

Preference Points for out of state Hunting
ANTLERS replied to BizCT's topic in Out of New York Hunting
I drew a tag in VT in 2011 after 9 years,Im on 12 years in maine and N.H. In 15 minutes they will post the maine results. Hope springs eternal. Im up to 21 pref. points in Maine. One down side is that N.H. announced they have cut way back on tags due to the fact that the moose population has dropped considerably in the last few years. -
That is correct,The Irish were introduced to it when they arrived here and shared the neighborhood with the Jewish community on the lower east side. Ham and turnips would be more appropriate.

Ive applied for the moose lottery in VT,NH and Maine. It took me 9 years to draw in Vermont,Still waiting in the other 2 states. One point about Maine,If your willing to settle for a Cow tag,You might get drawn a lot sooner than just holding out for a bull tag. -
He might have missed, but that's still more bucks than I saw all year.

Happy Birthday..Your catching up to me!

Their reasoning is that Suffolk County is heavily populated suburbia and on weekends you may encounter other weekend warriors i.e hikers, joggers, bikers. Its a safety issue, less people in the woods means less chance for an accident.
