    Seems a bit early for me. I have preferred hunting on or just after 10/15 or so, but that's just me. The cooler the weather, the better for deer movement.

    The freeze may be Gods way of controlling and killing the EHD bug, that is infecting deer in spots.

    Usually I begin a little shooting, in the basement around June 1st. Only 10 yards, but enough for me to get some practice in. maybe 6 or 8 in the morning, then 6 to 8 in the evening. Have a few aches and pains, so i try to not overdo it.

    Not going to be preached to by millionaire members of the National felons League and TV announcers about BLM, white priviledge, etc. They can kiss my arse. Hope the league folds. Although they didn't know it at the time, the Pegula's are now wondering why they ever bothered to buy into all this professional football trouble. Congrats to the Chiefs for last years SB win, but things have changed for me. No more.

    I had a Bear Kodiak Hunter recurve( lefty) and enjoyed shooting it. Bought it around 1974.
