    What did that tiller set you back if you don't mind? I have a b26. Looking for something to till the garden and maybe a small foodplot or two.

    Best thing to do is work on form first. It's a little different than a compound but the basic functions are the same. Don't try for super accuracy at first work your way there. Bad habits are hard to break later on down the road!! I know from experience! LOL

    Awsome fish!! I want to know how the deer know season is over!! You see them in all summer in certain fields then season starts they all dissappear then a day after season closes boom they are all back. Probably coincidence but still has to make you think twice about how smart these critters are....

    Didn't even see a tail. Pushed one out with the tracks on the snow you could tell it was fresh. On to small game hunting now. My beagles will be happy!

    I have a 54 cal. It makes quite the hole when you smack them with he round ball!!

    Soak it in water for a day or so then boil it. Use a pressure washer on it and then clean. I had one this year i just threw into some boiling water it. It came mostly clean before I ran out of gas for the burner.

    People never cease to amaze me. They should take his truck and gun! That would make him think twice next year!! In reality he will lawyer up and get the charges dropped or reduced then he will be at the table next year telling his story to his buds before they go out and do it again. What a shame to loose a buck to a piece of scum like that.

    Talking about our area and the capital district. We're we have a medium sized herd. I was talking to a buddy and he said you cam shoot as many as you are allowed and it would never change the structure of the herd. I disagreed with him. It's interesting to hear what different people say.

    For an simple number say you own 100 acres. How many deer do you take off that piece of property. Let's say the deer population is on the medium low size. For instance you have a few bucks on camera and a handfull of does consistently. What would you limit the deer take to. Surrounding propertys are cut up. Some decent chunks and some developments.

    Good luck everyone. 12 deg here. I have to finish cutting up my deer so I will send god luck vibes to everyone while I enjoy my first warm weekend coffee since the season started.

    I couldn't believe what I was reading but then again there are some special people in this world!! The best part they were both driving around with suspended licences and one was a felon with a gun!! Idiots!!!

    Wouldn't you need a graduated ruler for this? I know when you do tree diameter you use a diameter tape and it had to different measurements on it.

    Thing to remember is that the deer are constantly changing the patterns to food and pressure. You might not want to get rid of all those stands because next year one might be a go to stand. In 3 years on the property I hunt I have seen different patterns each year and tried to adjust. Then there are the solid go to spots that work every year. You always have to scout and weigh your options. That's why I always have a climber stand ready to go.

    No worries. I am glad you guys all care enough to ask and worry about my little guy. I actually put them on him alot when it's cold and I walk in the woods. One it keeps his ears warmer and if a stick slaps him in his ears it does not hurt him. Plus he stays asleep better and longer.

    Yes yes and yes. He was on my back at the time with the muffs. He was sound asleep and had a cover over him. He jumped but didn't even wake up. Trust me when I say my kids come first! Like someone said no deer is worth it.

    Those guys that come to you home are unbelievable in a time that just plane sucks. They make a hard time managable. Sorry for your loss. The memories will be forever.

    Went out to check trail cams today with my little one. I brought the gun along just in case and was glad I did. He was asleep when I shot and never even woke up. I was amazed. Only takes a second for those who are still trying, don't give up.

    I have been seeing the same little doe every night it seems could be a different deer each time (hoping) I guess. I see him/her same time same place everyday. Saw a dandy eating in the field weds night. Huge body with a decent rack. No care just munching away.

    I bet if you put some time in and researched the deeds backI bet you would find an easment. Specially if it's public property.
