Your best grunt call?

I like all wood calls I made one out of cocobolo and it sounds awsome. Here are two others that I still have pics on my phone. One is a cottontail distress call made out of Chakte Viga and the all wood grunt call is afRican mahogany. -
What spine are you shooting? I would think with a 48 pound bow you would be middle of the road on spine. You must be playing with extreme FOC!!

I don't know if his is a young hunter but if it is make sure it is fun for them. Don't post him on stand for a ton of hours first time. If you want change his stand throughout the day makes a big difference.

I haven't personally but know a bunch of people who put string in the arrows to get more weight it works great. if you need the weight and don't want to put it at the end of your arrow

The puukko is my go to knife stays extremely sharp but the ray knife is awsome and a perfect size!

I have seen alot of people using them. How do you go about making them what do you use for sent? I have never done one before but I am interested and wondering if it's worth the time. I think this would work better in high deer density areas but want to here what you guys say. I have hunted scrapes before and had some luck but this seems like it could bring the deer to you.

Another trick instead of buying expensive inserts for the target. Take saran wrap wrap it around your target tight then take a can of spray foam and insert it into the plastic wrap fill it up and you have a new insert!!. I only do this on the cheap 3d targets. The inserts are as much as the target on sale.

Saw my first deer from the stand. A button buck. Walk on little guy walk on!!

The monsters might not be so apt to move when he is out there but it seems that deer are pretty used to farm machinery.

Nit only that but what kinda power does the arrow still have at 80 yards let alone100. Those bolts aren't heavy! Then think of the trajectory in 100 yards!!
