175 grn Simmons. I will tell you they get the job done!!!
-
That's dedicated right there
-
That works too. I started with a stiff spine so I could put 100 grain insert and a 175 grain broadhead on. Gives me good FOC.

I wouldn't go nuts cutting the arrows do a little at a time and shoot to compare. it will take a lot of time but you will get results. If you take to much off at one time it can have a negative effect and put you back to square one.

Have a 4J looking for a 4h!

Glitter some of those short bows are awsome! The problem I have with them isn't the stacking it's the finger pinch. I have a 29.5 in draw and a short bow doesn't like the fingers way back there. Some of those old bow where built unbelievable strong and smooth as butter when you draw.

That's what I would say racoon. It looks the same as bear but much smaller pile. Although the piles can be deciving. When you see a bear pile you know by the size.

Either, I am 6' so just wondering if they would fit? -
Bow hush is in a holding pattern right now i think. They do work very well but I don't think you can get them unless you pick them up from someone else. If you want cool colors you can pick up different colored cat whiskers from 60x strings to. They are easy to put on yourself also.

try wooly whispers i like them alot but if you hunt in the rain I would go with cat whiskers.

This is the only shot that counts!!!

Looks like he mated with a ram or a goat!! Is that a tip tie liking branch??

Don't let next year be the last deer you get! If you go back to trad gear you will want to hunt for a lot longer!! If need any help setting anything up or just want to shoot let me know I have been hunting traditional for the last 14-15 years. I have a few bows that you could try out to see what you like too. Rattler I have found that the farther out you practice the better you get closer! If you want to shoot 30 go to 40 and practice then walk up to 30 and you will be amazed.

I do agree with the higher the cam the less it spooks them though
-
I run alot of my cams on video and I can say it does bother some deer and some it doesnt. I have had bucks and does spook and run as fast as they can out of there. Some deer seem to pose for the camera!

No I hear ya Moog. I had a my riser start to come apart when I first got it. It was my first custom bow. I had to send it back twice but the maker made good on it so there was no reason to drag him through the mud.

Are they Border limbs by chance?
-
What is the maker of the bow? I know if it is a custom alot of the makers will have extra limbs around and might be able to send you a pair for the meantime.
-
What are you arrows doing now between field tips and broadheads?
