    Considering moving, spooked a bunch of deer within 100 yards of this stand. No wind to speak of. I think at least 1 of then was a buck, sounded big running down the hill.

    Kicked up 4 on my way in to my stand and saw a spike cruising.

    It's a real struggle not to light up in the stand this morning.

    Had what I think was a buck, followed by 2 doe at sunup this am. Buck went into some hemlocks and didn't come out. Doe strolled through browsing.

    All set, took the long way around to avoid bumping anything in the fields. Crossbow is eager to show me what she can do.

    10 degrees for the high, 2 inches of snow, light but steady wind, say out of the northwest.

    No I went through the board meeting route like you said. It went easy, I guess it's just a formality. Turn in your application to the board of directors meeting, next week they review your application at the general memversion meeting. They said they don't turn anyone away. Pay your membership fee and done. I won't ever be any thing other than a social member, too busy with my own crap. The range is pretty basic, but there's never been anybody there when I've gone to shoot. It's also closed during gun seasonI guess? I think they hunt down range from the range or something.

    I joined this club this year, nice shooting range. Really been good for my firearm practice to have a nice range 5 minutes from my house. Just curious if anybody else is a member on here?

    Yeah I'm holding out for sunday too. Gonna take the wife out for the afternoon and score some brownie points. Sunday should be a good day.

    This is an interesting topic for me too! I need to get the road in fixed on my dads/my property then I will be doing something in this vein. What's fascinating to me is the battery technology + solar panels currently being developed. I just had solar put on my house last year, and the rep I spoke to said the battery storage is really moving forward.

    Is there an option to get pressure added to the wunderground app? I check probably once an hour, and always have google earth pro open on my work desktop. I'm up to 5 spots earmarked for stands, in addition to the dozen I have. I may have a problem.

    I hear good things about partridge run. A few high school parties there that I vaguely recall. 20 years past.

    Renslearville State Forest used to get mobbed on opening day, hardly anybody the past 5 years. I mention this because they logged the ever living piss out of it 2 years ago, looks very deer friendly now. I drive through it on the way to the farm. Also interesting is that it doesn't show up as green state forest on Google maps these days. But it's still on the DEC Web ste.
