  1. He can’t bring it here but NY has zero jurisdiction in another state. If it stays there he has to follow that states laws. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I’ve always found birds to be a lot more willing to play the game with little rain and wind. Too much of either can definitely turn them off but a steady drizzle and 10-20mph wind is a day I have a lot of confidence in! Calm and cool is too noisy to move around on them. I know it’s nice for those with good hearing to be able to hear the birds but being more than half deaf hearing turkeys isn’t something I can do until they’re about in range. 3. What’s everyone’s favorite Turkey hunting weather? I want rain and a little wind. I like to sneak in close and with those conditions I’ve gotten in spitting range. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Never been that far south but I would think find feed and poke around. Should still be oaks down that far and early muzzleloader is a perfect time to hunt oak ridges. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Nice looking rifle. That 2.5x8 is the perfect scope for that rifle, that’s what’s on by 06 and 35Whelen tikkas. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Usually they’re designed to hook back to themselves making them a 1 and 2 point sling. Assuming the stoeger has regular sling studs it’s not going to work. Is you want to use it just tie a small loop with a thing braided rope and clip it to that. I don’t use sling swivels because they always make noise so I just use a little loop of rope. 7. They’re plenty accurate for anything I want to do with a carry pistol and extremely fast. I wouldn’t put them on my 22 I carry for partridge killing but for everything else they’re the best I’ve found. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. He’ll probably get arrested on weapons charges in 2023 as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I think you’ll be very happy with it, they sit over 3/8”lower than a rail mount, are bomb proof and look way cleaner! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Glad he’s ok! You think you’re mad now wait 12months when you read in the paper that the shit bag that shot him is out on good behavior! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I agree been carrying since my 21st Bday and have carried a lot of different pistols and revolvers. I absolutely can’t conceal a full sized 1911 without dressing around it unless I carry it in small of back and I would rather carry a gun in a purse. I can carry my DW eco iwb at 3 O’clock and appendix but I have more comfortable, lighter options that hold more rounds. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I broke 2 bones in my foot a month ago in a kindling wood splitting accident “wear shoes!” Anyways walking in my normal Turkey hunting boots “lacrosse Grange” is out of the question they have zero foot support. I’ve been doing some light hikes in my zamberlans and it hurts but is doable. If I’m stuck wearing these for Turkey season I’m going to need some gaiters. Anyone use them if so what do you like? 13. Got the Eddie Bauer yesterday and wore them today on a 6 mile hike. Wow! These things are extremely comfortable fit very well for a big thighed and big hind end guy. I ordered 36 and 38” waste, I usually wear my waste is a 36 but I usually have to go to 38’s for crotch room but with these the 36’s are perfect with room for a iwb gun. For the price I’m very happy with these. My only complaint is I wish they came in green but but I should be able to trick any deer or Turkey I want to kill others the grey or dark brown pairs. 14. I have a Dan Wesson eco, I thought I wanted it to carry but I shoot my G26 just as well, I don’t like a safety on a carry gun and its weighs more while carrying less bullets. Other than it looking amazing in a nice leather holster I have very little use for it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Yea, but I didn’t use a blind. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. They’re all pretty when they’re bloody and laying on or in dead critters! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Lead sled, there’s zero reason not to use one for patterning. They’re plenty cheap and are an absolute necessity if your patterning a Turkey gun, with the price of some shells today if you pull 4 or 5 shots you could have payed for a basic lead sled. I love shooting and I shoot more than most anyone I know. Recoil is a non issue for me but I absolutely hate shooting heavy recoiling shotguns I can still shoot them accurately it it’s something I just don’t enjoy and have learned to avoid. It’s why I’ve went to a 20ga for slug and Turkey purposes years ago. Even with my 20’s I still shoot them in the lead sled if I’m patterning, zeroing a dot etc. Once the wind dies down I’ll be checking 3 20 gauges they have dots and they’ve been patterned so it will be one shot and done. 2 other 20’s have new optics/ chokes so it will probably take 3 shots to zero and another 10 to test shell choke combos then another 1 or 2 each to zero the best combos. That’s a lot of shooting and even with them being 20’s I wouldn’t want to do it without a lead sled. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I talked to the very nice folks at sumtoy this evening. I believe it’s a husband and wife outfit out of Georgia. I was looking for a mount for a new toy and she said if they don’t have it they’ll make it tomorrow and it will be in the mail by Wednesday. Hard to beat a company with service like that and only 50$ shipped. If you’re still looking their number is (912) 237-4360 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. 1.5” is a slammer! That’s a neat tool as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Although I don’t remember the last time I had one in the woods there’s just something that just feels right about an O/U! I have a soft spot for red label Rugers, probably why I have 5 of them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Thanks for the help…. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I’ll be there, hopefully I break my long running streak of riding less than 10 miles in 4 days. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. You didn’t have this issue when you sighted it in? I personally won’t own a magpul magazine I’ve saw way too many fail. Do yourself a favor and go with lancer L5’s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. A buddy has them and he complained about them not holding up to well is why I avoided them. I might have to give them a shot Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
