You can't hunt it now so you have nothing to loose. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Didn't a few women pass ranger school? If your going to make shit up about yourself at least use something that holds value. Semper Fi Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have 15 cameras I run and not 1 is within 100yds of a stand. Mature bucks avoid cameras in my opinion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Had an awesome day in the dacks! Tracked a spike horn could have shot him in his bed at 25yds, saw 6 does and 1 ? Absolutely perfect still hunting day! Snowing now hoping it sticks around until morning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Is it really good food or are we just so hungry after hiking the miles we walk up here that it tastes good? My wife always makes me a big pot of goulash to bring up and I hate goulash but after hunting all day and it warming up on the wood stove it is delicious! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If you have to ask why many of us choose to have a camp instead of staying at a hotel you wouldn't understand. A camp in the remote wilderness with propane lamps and a crackling wood stove is the greatest place on earth. I'm sure there are other areas that have the same traditions but I know for a fact that the UP of Michigan has very similar style of camps they call them "yooper camps." Doesn't affect accuracy once so ever, scope is mounted to the barrel, the barrel moves scope moves with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Anyone going out for the early ML season up north?

No, I should have not shot it and let it live a long and happy life because no one else is even stupid enough to get to where he lived let alone shoot him up there! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Can't go wrong there! Been there and done it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
No idea on the pro hunter but I can tell you that for 1/3 the money all of my cva' shoot way better than 1.5" at 100yds. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There is something magical that happens when you pull your wool clothes out for the first time of the year and know they are going to get wet and covered in snow and hopefully blood. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I don't know what I have done this year but I must have been a really good boy calling for 2-4 inches of snow! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I guess different places different things happen. Around my place mature bucks start the dance when it comes to making sign. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I completely disagree when it comes to making sign. As far as chasing yes I agree. I think rubbing and scraping is learned behavior. All the areas I have hunted this year where I know there are mature bucks there is sign where I don't think a mature buck is there is no sign. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If that was my driveway he would be dead! One of the many reasons I always Cary a pistol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well the truck is packed with everything but the guns I have to work until 5 tomorrow then I'm heading up. Looking like snow sat and sun and I am stoked! Can't wait to get on a track in the snow. Can't wait to sit beside the wood stove with a book and a cold beer! I wait all year for the next month and a half and I can't wait! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have covered a lot of country in the last 2 weeks and have found a bunch of rubs and scrapes. If you have a couple mature bucks you will have rubs and scrapes. Young bucks are a little later to the game. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I shot a couple does in NC and a doe in NY haven't had a deer take a step yet. Shot a bunch of hogs with it as well and a coyote. It's an awesome cartridge for what it is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You did what you felt you had to! Nobody can argue with That! You're the one that has to look in the mirror at yourself no one else. If you don't feel good about it now you know for next time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

As primarily a still hunter I look forward to hunting in rain! I won't bow hunt in a down poor but anything less than that and it's game on! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
