Those numbers are anemic to say the least that's 380acp numbers. Although I like carrying a 380 in my pocket I wouldn't use it to kill anything bigger than a raccoon.

I had the same results with the 300gn's .45 hole in and a .45 hole out. Even when I recover them out of a clay backstop at 100yds there is minimal expansion.

They are a lot of fun! As far as hunting there isn't any subsonic ammo that I would feel confident with for hunting deer but many do. There are countries in Europe that suppressors are mandatory for big game hunting.
-
Some I had 2 when I lived in NC before I moved back to NY. Plus what I used in the Corps.
-
Other states legalized them for hunting. To each's own but they certainly do nothing for me.

My question still stands why would they allow air guns and not suppresors? What are the projectiles that these shoot are they expanding or like a hard cast?

Remington 783 Problems (miss loading from clip)

Stupid discussion, I never once said they are the same thing however not a single modern firearm uses a clip to be loaded "and don't say stripperclips because the weapon isn't loaded with them the magazine is." When the OP used the term clip for his 783 everyone on the site knew exactly what he was talking about because clip is commonly used as a slang term for a magazine as I stated in the first place. A better comparison would be a motor and an engine, if you went to a mechanic and told him your motor was makings weird noise would he know what you are talking about? Even tho a car has an engine and everyone knows it. -

If I'm in a gun shop or talking guns with someone and use clip everyone knows what I'm saying just like in a restaurant ordering a Coke. -
I killed a couple deer in NC with one of my AR's and it worked. I also pulled my boat with my wifes car once and I got to fish. In both cases there are much better tools for the job!

Doing it yourself is way more fun!

I just wonder why NY would go this route and not suppressors like many other states have.

It's slang, coke and Pepsi aren't the same thing either but I still order a coke. -

Realy? It's slang no different than ordering a "Coke". You know what he's talking about and if you don't than it doesn't matter anyway. -
Give your local guy a shot. I know my local gun shop does everything he can to get what ever ammo he doesn't have in stock.

I hate to be like this but I'm glad you have your expectations set reasonably for remington. I know others have had great luck with their repairs but I have not on multiple occasions. The good thing about this is that you have 10 months before you need it again so that should be enough time for 2 trips back and maybe a third if need be. -
PA may put $25 Bounty on Coyotes
Buckmaster7600 replied to Mr VJP's topic in Small Game and Predator Hunting
When these idiots start paying my taxes they can start using my land to run their dogs! I'm not a huge coyote hunter as I'm usually too busy fishing or snowmobiling but when when I do go out I like there being a few to hunt. I have found more tracks from their dogs chasing a deer than I have of them chasing coyotes. Now when I see them driving around I get on the wheeler and ride around my land and make sure not one of them come on it and I try my damnedest to chase the damn dogs off it too. Last year their dogs had a coyote bayed and I shot it and they wanted "their" coyote and I told them they can have it as soon as I get "my" trespass fee for their dogs. I hate coyotes on my land all most as much as the a$$holes who let their dogs chase them all over my property! We had it out again yesterday bet it doesn't fix anything. -
Please Help Me Make Up My Mind

Never held a venture but had a vanguard and the fit and finish was beyond poor, and was never impressed with the way it shot. I have a Ruger American in 22-250 and its a shooter. I don't like the stock and the stupid trigger but the thing shoots 3/4" groups all day. -

I would have checked the mag also but too late now. I hope your experience with remingtons repairs are better than mine. If it isnt the mag I would bet it's "bolt slop" this allows the bolt to lean backwards while being pulled out or pushed forward missing the next casing. Most likely remington won't find this because they will attemp to replicate the problem by slowly racking the bolt back while watching feeding occur. Most likely when you were at the range and you were shooting fast not watching it is when this occurred and then when you did it slow and watched it you could get it to feed properly. -
I don't shop at the big box's for fun stuff but My local guy orders them for me and has them in 2-3 days. Heavy blend is what I use but have used the 13 with the same success.
