Growalot is onto something, but instead of rebar use earth anchors. Also called disposable stakes, they're used for trapping. Unless they're willing to dig, your stands should stay put

I'm just glad you're keeping the rif-raf on the other side of the lake! Just kidding. Sucks to think that people can't just appreciate that someone spent time & $$ to set that stand up

Yes from shore is good. You'll want to use big baits like inline spinners buzzbaits, zara spook, etc. Dawn & dusk are good times. Tread lightly because they'll sometimes lay along the shoreline. I like to locate them with a buzzbait and a fast retrieve. Once they boil underneath it I will switch to a different lure and use more finesse. Anywhere west of Binghamton can be good for muskies

Oops I meant the NYCDEP

Check into the NYSDEP land. I'm not sure if it's in the early bear zone but there's thousands of acres! You do need a free permit from the NYSDEP. Good luck

Ah NY chefs. Ya gotta try the eggplant parm pizza. Being a J.C. native one would think I would be a Brozettis fan but they never won me over, but the sauce is good. Jim Roma's has the pie to beat! 2 brothers huh? If I'm correct then one of them visits my house occasionally. I don't have the heart to tell him that I'm somewhat partial to Salamida's [emoji6]

Lightfield sabots thru an IC tube
PREDATE replied to turkeyfeathers's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
I've taken many deer with foster type slugs(usually Federals). I never tried the hybrids but I have witnessed the aweful accuracy of sabots through a smoothbore. Did you let the barrel cool enough between shots? -
May The Lord bless you and your family. I'm sorry for your loss.

Oops I just noticed that grow already mentioned ventilation

Sounds to me like you've got some undesirable guests or debris in the vent pipe. Break out the ladder, get on the roof and have a look see down the pipe. Careful for bees.

I just fixed a Samsung dryer a while back with merely the push of a button. The high heat limit switch was tripped.

Yes you are reading that right. Personally it didn't put a hamper on my bow season at all. I might sit a few times in early/mid October, but generally I like to conserve my energy for hunting the rut (late October- early November). I don't like the idea of giving NYS an inch, but I'd like to see them bring back the Oct. 15th season opener. As it is now, by the time the rut rolls around, every yokel with a bow has had almost a month to spook every deer in the county. It's really no wonder why the deer go nocturnal.

Trolling is a good time. You'll also need downrigger weights. I'm gonna start pulling copper for lakers in the next few weeks.

I was down working on keuka yesterday , but one of our guys saw it from the east side. Near German brothers? Sent from my LGL16C using Tapatalk

Was that venison from the big buck you got? If so, wait until you try a nice plump doe. Even better! I heard talk of people eating venison from deer taken down by Naples and and not liking the taste supposedly from the deer eating a lot of grapes.

Delicious! Hold the coco bread though. I just hammered a few in Barbados last month on my honeymoon Sent from my LGL16C using Tapatalk

A couple had only been married for two weeks....

I married the woman of my dreams 1 month ago. Hands down the best day of my life. Strange how some "males" can proclaim manhood by being a self serving slob Sent from my LGL16C using Tapatalk -
Although I work about 5-10 minutes from bullseye so I'll have to check it out. I heard the outdoor range is free. Is that true? Sent from my LGL16C using Tapatalk

I'm in Rushville so about 1/2 hour for me Sent from my LGL16C using Tapatalk

Glad to hear you're gonna start with the bow. Come on over sometime if you want someone to shoot with. I've bowhunted for about the last 19 years. Have you checked out the range at Bullseye yet?

7/24/16 10:30am 77 degrees Overcast Dry as a bone out here. I saw a big doe on the hoof coming from an area where pignut hickory nuts are falling early (still green) most likely from drought conditions. I got lucky and found a patch of red raspberry so needless to say, I need to floss when I get home![emoji6] Apple trees not producing. Corn is not much better than the ones you get in your beef & broccoli from the fu star panda[emoji12]

I bought this rest last summer to put on my new bow, but unfortunately my new Martin has a bridged riser and doesn't allow for enough clearance. This rest is brand new in the package and I'm asking $65 local pick up(Canandaigua,NY) or $70 shipped TYD. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/2874326793/g5-expert-ii-drop-away-arrow-rest
