I have been out before dawn, and been out and sat until after sunset, just watching and listening for my boots on the ground scouting. I have come to the conclusion after watching, the turkey are roosting across the road from one of the public lands I hunt. I have asked for permission twice, and told no both times on the private land. Soooo........ I am no turkey pro, but what I read and have experienced is trying to call turkey up a mountain can be a PITA. Getting them to cross a main road can be more frustrating at times. I may not be the favorite member on here ( partially my own doing ), but I am asking for advice on how to call them up to me.

This is really starting to look like just another anti gun thread. If everyone is so die hard that the guns are the reason for deer declines, then maybe you should get in those marches the kids are putting on. Ban the guns, then all the elite bow hunters will finally STFU! FFS! Does anyone read the crap they post these days? Sorry, to many die hard bow hunters are starting to sound like anti gun people. Guy fishing next to us said white perch. Not positive if they are the same species. I used to fish for rock bass often. Jigs and rubber worms, same as smallies or blackies. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk

One of the best tasting fish. Super fun to catch. If I am after most panfish I usually just use worms and a bobber. Caught my first white perch last Spring, couldn't eat as I caught it out of the Hudson. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk

Got some legs and thighs defrosting in the fridge. Picked up some panko today, and going to dredge the chicken and let it sit overnight tomorrow to fry on Monday.

I keep saying the same thing, over and over and over. Even now, no one does anything. Toss money at someone else to deal with it, that's how people deal with it. All these pro gun establishments don't seem to be getting the job done. Laws keep getting passed, and none can reverse most of them. Obama put in a last ditch effort about ammo, and Trumps people did away with it. Since that time, we had more political vomit then usual, and Trumps promise to defend the 2nd Amendment has fallen to the way side.
