Paula's getting her drink on these days.

Pics 2 and 4 looks like that bird had his strut on a little bit. Wondering what brought that on. The click of the cam taking the pic maybe?

Apparently he can hold the office according to the 14th Amendment. Still looking into if he can run for POTUS. All I find is you have to have one parent that was born in the USA. This a bit of a huge blurring of laws. Arny could and can't run, Obama did. Arny wasn't born here, nor was Obama, but Obama had one parent who was a US citizen. If what Andy says is true, this is where the lines begin to blur. His parents were undocumented, but he was born here. Now this, is a slippery slope Andy's brought to light.

Mostly irrelevant to this topic. I take it you have never hunted public land where there is a huge human presence with hikers, dog walkers, bird watchers, and cyclists. Deer aren't so skiddish all the time in these areas. I have noticed more deer over the last week then I usually see this time of year. Yesterday morning there was in the small field across the road. First time in almost two years seeing one there. I think March being more or less a severely chitty month weather wise has them up and moving more to regain much needed nourishment.

Bittersweet story, some good memories for sure though. To bad the land is being sold off.

This is a loaded question. Is it hunting if you are using 50 trail cams and food plots? IMO, no, it's not, but that's just my opinion. Let me return your question with another question. All the hunters who head out west to hunk Elk, Muleys, Sheep and take them at 200+ ( especially the DIY hunters ) yards aren't hunters?

First burgers on the grill this year. Extra sharp cheddar, jalapenos, hot maple bourbon pickles, and spicy ranch dressing. Pasta salad. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk

Big congrats to the youth hunters that killed a bird today! Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk

"Vagina Squirrels". I'm thinking a relevance to crabs. I feel bad if you have tree rats running amok in your "personal" areas. I guess this also gives new definition to the the term tree roots and brush wall.

That's hitting the nail on the head. The biggest issue we have is there are so many major metro areas in this state that the small town voters get out numbered. The NYC and LI, Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Utica, areas make up for far more then half of the voting populace. The small towns like where I live are the minority. As long as the major cities keep voting liberal, he will never get pushed out. Just remember, he will probably run for POTUS. Then $^it will get real.

I am very careful when shooting in the house. My dog now knows when I bring out the bow she goes and lays down in the kitchen. That's the biggest concern. As for accidents, shooting down my hallway really isn't any different then shooting at an indoor or outdoor range, if something bad is going to happen, it will happen no matter where I shoot. I am just limited in yardage. I hadn't touched the bow in a while, took two shots to make sure form was still on. Posted it in a different thread; https://huntingny.com/forums/topic/44798-put-some-turkey-loads-on-paper-this-morning/?tab=comments#comment-663406

I was watching The Chew this afternoon, and they gave a tip on how to get a crispier crunch, and keep the coating from separating from the meat. A little nervous to try this due to leaving uncovered raw chicken in the fridge over night, but I am still going to try it. Marinade the chicken parts in buttermilk or a yogurt and water mix for two hours ( I will be skipping this part and sticking with the egg wash ). Make your coating per usual ( flour, spices, etc ), and use cracker crumbs ( or panko, I always use panko if I have it the house ). Do your dredging ( how ever many coats you prefer ). Place the chicken on a rack inside a pan and let it sit over night in the fridge uncovered for the coating to dry. Deep fry in your preferred method. I will be trying this the next time I make fried chicken ( most likely within a week as I have oil that needs to be used up ), and will give the results. Here's a recipe for the flour I like and use and everyone loves it. I don't measure for things like this, so I just do it. Flour, sea salt, cracked black pepper, smoked paprika and regular paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley flake, sage, a little cayenne, and some Italian seasoning.

NY Firearms! I like many YouTube channels about bushcraft and back woods camping, to many to list here. Deviant Art ( don't take the site name for being "naughty" art), I create CG art, so I have an account there. I used to be a member of an airgun forum, but deleted it about 5 years ago.

I would say about 65% of the members on here forget we have separate seasons for the NZ. Yet, I bet some of those members could tell you sunrise/set times in PA for the area they hunt months in advance. Either way, this poll makes no impact on the DEC and their decisions. I thought this would go a few pages and then enter the void of redundant threads.

I say turkey. But, looks a little like what we call in my area as a turkey buzzard/vulture as well.

Thank you.

It's not a taco w/o lettuce and tomato IMO. The shells? We were at BJ's today getting the pork loin I will be smoking for our wedding. I noticed the Old Elpaso Nacho shells on sale, 30 for $4.99, so I grabbed a box. I like them. The nacho flavor isn't over bearing at all, blended pretty well with the other flavors.

Tacos with nacho shells. Oh, and yes, there are veggies in the taco! Beef, tomato, and lettuce. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk

That's what you get when you go to WNY after talking all the smack you do about the Bills. LOL As for the site, most F'd up thread of the year so far goes to the Yote Den thread. But the year's still young. The rest are just business as usual.

I would say they could survive...... That said, no way I want them here! As mentioned they are a highly invasive and destructive species, and breed worse then rabbits! They are also a nasty breed that kills for the hell of it, people think they have issues with coyotes? It's nothing compared to what the Eurasian Boars would cause. This is the only thing our current Governor has even done I agree with: https://www.dec.ny.gov/press/96757.html
