  1. If the broadhead ferrule still spines true and the blades are good after I shoot a deer I sharpen or buy replacement blades. I still shoot original spitfires and have about 8 heads and a few packages of blades. My son and wife shoot old trufire T1 broadheads, we have like 12 heads and quiet a few extra blades for these. we have all killed deer with these old style heads so why switch.but you are 100% correct archery gear prices are getting out of hand.
  2. Nice wooly.. first thing I thought of is it reminds me of a chess piece.
  3. I highly recommend it, wife and I went last year for the day. So we decided this yr to camp.
  4. Yeah quite a few guys were coming in with 30 ft goose neck trailers loaded to the hilt with quads . I told the wife they must have had a hell of a time making the left after the not so wide purple bridge in town.
  5. Well as others have said, big cubes, some nice rack boxes or a trailer to pull behind to haul everything . And if your planing on a passenger as moog said a 2 up machine or maybe you would want a UTV ..
  6. I would say there was probably 200- 300 wheelers total there Saturday..
  7. First photo is of everyone waiting for the drag races to start, I would guess maybe 150-200 atvs/ utv’s Parked to watch. Second one is a young lady kicking but in the bounty hole on her can am. she was giving it every thing she had but ended up smoking her drive belt..
  8. The last 2 photos is from the bounty hole if you look the guy is actually on the front of his wheeler driving it backwards to get through the hole. The mud was insanely thick it was like peanut butter. His tires were 31 inch’s tall easily.. I just noticed I got the John deer atv in my photo , look to the left of the last photo a guy built a atv to look like a John deer tractor it was pretty cool ..
  9. Wife and I headed up to Andover Friday afternoon and set up camp, left today around 2. We had a great time riding, muding and watching the obstacle course , drag races and of course the mud bogs. First few photos are of the wife and I having some fun in the mud . We had a blast.........
  10. What are you planing on using it for ? Some things may be more important than others depending on you’re planed usage..
  11. Not sure how you figure they will blow off, have you ever seen or used a cloths pin ? I remember my mom used to leave the old wooden ones on our cloths line in all seasons. Can’t ever recall them being blown off..
  12. Wish I could have given you 5 more likes...
  13. I could get used to seeing that every night.. Glad you and the better half are having a good time, It is a little addicting hopping on the wheeler and just heading out to see the wilderness..
  14. Depends on how many deer I have shot . If my freezer is pretty well set on venison by the end of archery well ......

Heck I still use it on my drop away prongs so my carbons don’t make noise on the draw..
  17. We just scored a new lease last week. so these are to help me and my son but mostly for the wife..
  18. You think so. I figured to clamp them on branches. Well I will give them a test run this year to see how they do ..
  19. $4 for 10 isn’t a lot, but I got 72 with reflective tape on both sides for $6 ..
  20. Thank you sir. forgot to say the reflective tape is in the automotive section..
  21. Bought the plastic cloths pins for like $3 for 72 , then bought a roll of reflective tape for like $3. Both were bought from Walmart . Cut the tape into strips and I super glued them on just to make sure the tape did not come off..
  22. Well that’s sucks , what a great buck..
  23. Thanks nomad, I was waiting for this and knew it was coming.
