Archery/deer is my favorite, but since I started hunting during firearms with a revolver it has put some of the fun back into it for me ..

I have a haul master tilt bed trailer mine is a 4 by 8 and its gvwr is 1980 lbs . Must be your tag is missing on yours ? If you want to increase your gvwr you will have to swap out the axle too, don’t forget the springs hold the trailer up but the axle carry’s the load.

Turkeyfeathers thread about finding a pellet of birdshot in a turkey feather, and finding gang green in the bird reminded me of a deer my dad shot when I was probably 17- 18 . My dad was on watch for a drive and shot a good sized doe probably about 60 yards away, well when I met him at the end of the drive we walked over to the deer and you could smell it 20 yards out. it was nasty , my dad pushed on the poor deer with his boot and it was like jello under her skin. We got ahold of d.e.c and they issued my dad another party tag. Will never forget it

That is neat, my biggest buck to date some one had shot him in the butt with bird shot. Had to waist the entire back of the deer, no gang green but was heading that way..

I feel comfortable shooting a deer at 100 yards with my 44 mag super redhawk. but having said that, I shoot hand loads of 240 grain xtp’s over 21 grains of 2400 shooting over 1400 FPS. Verified over my chronograph.

I said a woman, not a old woman.. but nope wait a second, hold the phone. what she lacks in looks I am sure she would make up for in skill.. hmmmmmm............

I agree, If it were going to happen I would want a woman.not a young lady..

I’ll go the other way and say any magnum cartridge that the person can not shoot worth a darn. Watched guys at the range that flinched so bad they couldn’t hit the bullseye at 50 yards..
