Ok ok, I'm sure this has been addressed but....

With over the top mechanicals, one definitely needs the momentum for them to work. I am a 32 inch draw and always pulled around 70+ pounds, and kept my arrow weight at 430 or above. I never had a problem with pass throughs. I remember the biggest doe I ever shot, she was just huge. Anyways shot her at a ranged 35 yards and the spitfire cut one rib in half on the way in and two in half on the way out. Left a huge blood trail. Now my wife, she’s on the opposite end she pulls 40 lbs 25 inch draw. I have her arrows at 398 grains with 75 grain brass inserts , 100 grain 3 blade pyramid tip broad heads. And she has excellent penetration and pass through’s I am not saying your wrong, far from it actually . Just pointing out as in my earlier post it’s a puzzle and when one figures it out it all goes together nicely. -
So that’s what dirt looks like..

Just because I have a big gut and eat weird combos doesn’t mean I am pregnant ..

Had a buddy that swore by the grim reapers. Basically a cousin of the spitfires. -

A broad head , fixed or mechanical is only part of the puzzle. A bow should be tuned the best it can be . A proper spine arrow plays a big part in tuning a broad head in flight and to the bow . I’ve shot mechanicals for years but always had the bow tuned to shoot the old school muzzys and nap thunderheads. I knew if I could get them to fly, I was usually pretty good to go. One needs that arrow coming out the bow as straight and true as possible. Because old Murphy can rear it’s ugly head at any time. A rough release , a small twig we didn’t see, buck fever, etc. So many uncontrollable things that could cause the arrow to fly just a bit funky. In the end any sharp broad head will kill a deer put in the right spot. But anything we can do to help that arrow and head fly true and find that spot is critical. -
Come on oct 1st......

I have shot spitfires for years and years and never had a problem with them and always loved the big holes and the massive blood trails they left . But after seeing guys post photos of the damage that the Magnus black hornets were leaving I am trying them this year. -
Congratulations neighbor.

Oh come on guys, you must have some weird combos.

A few of mine I love . pouring franks hot wing sauce on cottage cheese . Orange juice and sharp cheddar cheese together. So what’s some of your odd combos ?

My uncle was a carpenter and he got a sliver from some pressure treated wood in the meaty part of your thumb / palm . He pulled it out , stuck a band aid on it and went back to work. Few days later his hand was nasty . Went straight to the ER and they treated him right away. Yep flesh eating bacteria from the sliver.

That is what is referred to now a days as gender fluid .

I am very behind this year, hopefully next weekend we can post the lease we picked up last year. Then get a few ladder stands up.

Throw a better topo map on it and I would take a guess.

Yep, most are going to this. Problem they are finding with out the fuel hitting the top side of the valves they are getting carbon build up on the valves So now some have gone to direct and port injectors.

That is a good photo, who doesn’t like a good back scratch .

All the manufacturers are going to the auto start stop, it’s for emissions and a way for them to get the milage up. We received 2 - 2019 Malibu’s at work and they have it. The auto start stop is a huge reason I bought my 2014 f150, no auto start stop.

They have their big farm fest coming up Labor Day weekend. Last year we camped out and I bet there was 3-400 atv/utv’s there. It’s a good time. If I remember right they have their mud prom July 27 ? I think. Depending on what we get done on the lease we may or may not go. -
Nice job, honestly the first remount wasn’t bad either.
