Corona Virus Thread
grampy replied to Al Bundy's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
The only thing to fear is fear itself....................FDR......1933. Still true today. There are many out there using fear as a political means. Yes, there is a virus out there that will make you sick. But so does the common cold, and flu. Coronavirus is not the Black Plague!!! -
Since TF missed it, Happy B Day to KemalaHudg

Happy Birthday!!! Bola Basket on the way!! -
Yes, me too. Been thinking about a GoPro for filming hunts. But want to see how it looks out a little ways, like 40 to 50 yards?
-
Cool video! I loved it! Congratulations again on a great buck! And beautiful mount!

HEY!!!!.......save some for me! Thinking about towing out for a Bass/Walleye weekend!! And of course a meet and greet with the Oneida legend.....Robhuntandfish!
-
Happy Birthday!!! Hoping today, and the coming year, is filled up with all the good stuff!!!
-
What a good looking pup!! Was meant to be, with you two finding each other. I have no doubt that the happiness goes both ways. Only question is.........does she come running when you drop a tree???

Injury wise, the Yankees are picking right up where they left off last year! So much for revamping the training staff. Gardy's never even met that psycho woman. C'mon man.........
-
Yikes!!! Batten down the hatches fella's! Here in the Capital District, except for a big storm back in November. We have been pretty lucky this year, with no BIG snow storms. Still.... March can be brutal here sometimes.

Again jjb4900, your generosity is refreshing! The coveralls will be too small for my grandson or myself. But thank you just the same! And thanks to the generosity of moog, my grandson stayed warm, with some quality hunting clothes this past season! And will for many years to come! The people on this forum are second to none!!!

I'm excited to see her all put together! And just giddy, to see the range results! This is a great thread Chef!

No way Biz. She is really out there, and delusional. And not even Gardy would go yardy on that.

With Mookie gone from RF, why not the Sawx?????

For any outdoor, or colder weather boot, the last thing you want is tight fitting boots. I've found it best to have a bit of room for toes to move around, and not be too restricted. So depending on the boot, I go up one size, sometimes two. That gives me room for a thick pair of wool socks, and still not be too tight. Wool, or wool blend socks are cushioning for warmer weather, and insulating for colder. This seems to work for me. I think my Mucks are one size up, and fit well. I'd assume the Dryshod boots will have a similar fit to the Mucks? Will definitely try a pair of those next.

Not for me either. But it's still really cool!

DAC is awesome! Been to a number of his shows. Now if that ain't country..........

I'm in for team moog!!! Where do I send the application fee??? Worth double the fee to get another invite to hunt the short stand in Mendon! As I saw one of the biggest bucks of my life from that stand! And a couple other real "nice" ones!!!!
-
Happy Birthday to Mom!!! Saw my first Redwings of the year yesterday, up on the farm. Unusual to see them this early up there. No Grackles yet. But they won't be far behind.

This brings back some good memories! We would go to a feeder creek of Thompson's Lake. We used spears we made ourselves, mostly from a sharpened broom handle, with a short nail for a barb. And it seemed every year, at least one of us would slip on a rock and get soaked! To the amusement and ball busting of the others. Good times.

Both my Rocky and Muck boots have served me well. I'd buy either one again. The Mucks are lighter in weight, and a bit more comfortable.
-
Very similar shape and brows. And shot in same spot as the picture. I say same buck Biz. Get that pic made to 8x10 and hang it near the mount.
-
Beautiful buck and mount Biz.
-
Very cool story. I wonder what pound test line he was using? That thing looks heavy!

This is a cool format Rob. As the fish is released right where it was caught after weighing. And the anglers have real time updates, as to what the other competitor's are doing. Come on.....let's get some sponsorship for ya, and get you out there this year! I know you'd hold your own against the pro's, on your home water! And you already have a shiny new boat too!!!!
