  1. The Noslers are for my Sako. The Silver tips are for Gary's Rem 700.

    New here

Welcome!!! Hope to hear more from ya!
  3. Bob, they are the Hornady quick change bushings. So easy to change back and forth. I even mark the sides to line up the same way each time.
  4. Great video! Nice shot! You really put some thought into this, and it shows!
  5. Couldn't agree more Biz. That's why back before the trade deadline, and Cashman sat on his hands and let let one opportunity after another go by, for starters. I just shook my head. Knowing when this part of the playoffs came, it would come back to bite the Yankees big time. If we just had ONE more quality starter in the rotation that is at least dependable, we could order the rings.
  6. Also, live by the bat, die by the bat, when they go cold! All those homers in the regular season mean nothing now. Especially in the playoffs. It's do or die time for this years Yankees.
  7. Good luck zeek! I know I'll learn something here! Looking forward to following along!
  8. I've been bow hunting in NY for a long time, and had to take the bow course when I started. Though I'm not familiar with how it correlates between Pennsylvania and NY. I always assumed Pennsylvania had a bow course too.
  9. I get a great deal of satisfaction just researching, working up and testing the results of my work. I know for certain, the first one that drops, dead right there, from one of my handloads is going to be a huge high! From the start, you have been, among some others, a helpful source of information for me Dan. Thanks so much. You and the guys should feel a little bit of the high too. Because you all helped make it happen! Safety is always formost on my mind. Only one step at a time. And priming is done at a small table behind me. All the loads in that box, two separate rounds are all the same, and easily identifiable. Test rounds are always kept in separate containers. Thanks for the advice. I still have a lot to learn! That is exactly how I started Jerry. Then started piecing together the bench and what I needed, over time. I read a LOT too. And of course got great help from the guys here!
  10. I've been a Panthers fan since day one. My take is Cam is not the same player he once was. Always respected his physical style of play. But always disliked his arrogance and moodiness. He had one great season in 2015, and has gone downhill steadily since. And lost a SB they should have won! He has never been, or ever will be the pocket QB he needs to be, to prolong his career in the NFL. Use Cam for trade bait. Some teams will surely bite! The Panthers will get much more towards their future, by dealing him than keeping him. Kyle Allen may not be the future franchise QB for Carolina, but he's doing a better job than Cam can right now.
  11. No way buddy. And you're much better now, than I ever was at your age! We'll get together again before the end of the season!
  12. Save em for me, I'll eat em! What other good stuff ya got in there? And imitation crab isn't so bad either.
  13. Last night I spent some time at the bench to get our hunting ammo done. 270, Nosler BT 140g and some 140g Silvertips. We are good to go. This recipe shot very well on the range tests. This year, for the very first time, a buck will fall from a bullet I made up. Been waiting for this for quite awhile! All the time, and effort, put into this reloading stuff has been worth it. I really enjoy the tedious aspect, and being precise.
  14. Took a break from the woods, to meet up with UpStateRedNeck for coffee and a snack yesterday. In East Berne. We talked hunting and outdoors stuff for quite awhile. A very knowledgeable, and good guy! I look forward to our next meet up Paul!
  15. We found a bunch more rubs today, that were not there yesterday! No chasing at all yet. But the boys are certainly preparing for the big dance! 4H in the hill towns outside Albany.
  16. Yesterday, was in before light came out at 12:30. Saw multiple doe and fawns, again at spitting distance from the ground at lake property. Caught a glimpse of a decent buck up on the knob above me too. And had a doe and last years fawn bed within twenty yards of me. They were really chowing down the acorns! Decided for the afternoon, I'd go to the upper part of the farm, to a blind where it's usually good for early season. Got all the way up there before I realized my release was in my truck! So just sat and observed for awhile before leaving early. Luckily, I didn't have a big buck walk by and stop at 15 Yards!! So I didn't beat myself up too bad for being dumb. While I was there, my hunting partner was on another part of the property, and saw a giant buck! So today we spent a few hours placing a perfect set up for one side of that area. Tomorrow, we will place another one on the other side, for a different wind direction. And also at another spot we found today. These will be strictly rut spots, and or opening day of gun season. And I feel the best new setups we've done in years! Will take some time tomorrow, for a quick meet up with UpstateRedneck and RebelDarling in East Berne for coffee and a snack! Then back to hunt.
  17. I will continue to send thoughts and prayers until Lee is once again standing knee deep in a trout stream.
  18. Love that picture! Looks like Kunox has his game face on!
  19. Yeah....got a perfect score. Guess that makes me older than dirt. But I've known that for awhile now. And it really ain't so bad.
