I'd be interested in seeing pictures of the 60lb coyotes you kill. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

I always have the tree I'm headed to picked out before the season so no big deal in my climber. The very few hangons I put up are generally a minimum of 20ft. I regularly go higher in my climber, especially during gun season, I'll go 30' in a few spots for a long view. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

I'll try throwing 25 more grains up front and see what happens. Honestly the bow is shooting so awesome that the thought of changing things now just to have a lighted nock is off putting to me. Thanks though, be interesting to see if it makes a difference. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

Just ordered some slick tricks too for the compound, I've never heard anything bad about them. I did buy a Bear Super Grizzly recurve a few weeks ago but nowhere near proficient enough to hunt with it yet. Good to know a few of you guys have experience with them, I might need the help along my journey to a traditional deer. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

I tried changing nock/string fit, didn't help. So short of adding weight up front to gain a bit more FOC to offset, I'm not sure how else you "tune" for lighted nocks. I'm all ears if you know a way... Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

99% of the time I'm in my climber, I hunt state land and like to move around a lot. Can't beat a climber for comfort either Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

Looks like management deer, I'll burn my tag on them for you. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

It's true they aren't the highest but who in all honesty pushes the towing limits on any regular basis with their half ton pickup? I'd bet 90% never will, it's like target shooting at 30yds with a 300WM in my opinion, Yea itll work, Yea it's powerful, Yea it's capable of a lot more, but if you aren't ever needing it what's the point of using it's extreme capabilities as a selling point? Like I said it's not the king of all trucks, it's not perfect. A lot of people are quick to dismiss a "Foreign" truck without knowing anything about them? I get what you're saying though. There is no BEST truck. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

I'll just leave these here... Sorry for the poor quality. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

I too have flight issues with Nockturnals. First time for me but completely new setup this year. Bow is shooting great but with Nokturnals I'm getting flyers to the right and low. Pop the nock off and right back to point of aim. I could mess with them and try to figure it out but I'm not going to, not worth it to me. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

How do you figure they aren't work capable compared to others? They arent luxury automobiles like the major 3 have become if that's what you mean? If you have looked at truck prices lately you aren't paying more for a Toyota than any other brand? To each their own, but I bet my Rocker panels and wheel wells last longer than the big 3 and I'd dare to guess when I do finally trade it in I'll make out better there too. I find most people get hung up on "what dad used to always drive" rather than keeping their eyes open to something else. A Tundra may not be for everyone, but it's for me. It has shortcomings compared to some other trucks but they all do. I saw a Tundra tow a space shuttle once, that's all I need to see... Haha. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

I only work 16 days a month to begin with. I can take 2 days and get 9 off. But I did take off November 5-20 this year, as usual. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

I don't see Toyota giving manufacturer rebates of $9-13,000 every year to push trucks either. That's because they aren't way overpriced to begin with, they sell without extreme discounts. I'm not a Toyota fanboy by any means, just call it as I see it. I researched all truck brands before I bought my Tundra and I have zero regrets. I liked my Rams but the body rot was ridiculous. The durability of the steel, insane retained value and Toyota's dependability hasn't gone away. Did I mention it's American made? Take a look at the shape of other brands that are 10+ years old and look at body condition. I've owned 2 Dodge Rams that were rotting out by the time I sent the last payment. If you're looking for a fancy, modern interior with touchscreens big enough to watch a movie on then sure, don't get a Toyota. But if you want a truck that'll last you a long time and still be worth money after that then grab a Toyota. My .02... Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

Not to derail anything, but if you're into intense, ground level public land whitetail hunting with no sponsors, no plugs no BS then you guys should check out "Whitetail Adrenaline" series. You can't watch full episodes but can watch some teasers on YouTube. It's pretty incredible, no ground blinds, sometimes hardly even wearing camouflage, all public land, mostly spot and stalk. They aren't cheap to buy ( $30-50) for a couple of DVDs but it's all self produced, self payed and no sponsorships. There's a reason I own 8-10 of the DVDs now, it really puts into perspective what is needed to kill big deer on public land. I'm not affiliated with them in any fashion, just addicted to their series. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

And you think that you know what nature needs? And you are responsible for leveling it out?? If you're so concerned about the fact that deer die naturally, maybe you should stop contributing to the problem also, why don't you stop killing deer? You're entitled to kill deer but a coyote isn't? Why? Because you paid the state for a license? This isn't grandma's anecdotal evidence anymore, studies have shown that coyotes only really predate on healthy deer during the fawning process, with that being fawns themselves. Perhaps you've heard the term "predator swamping"? I'm not going to keep dragging this out... It just gets under my skin when people think they know what's best and they're taking their stance from an uneducated platform they and others put themselves on. Coyotes are probably responsible for thousands of fawns deaths a year in NY, hunters are responsible for hundreds of thousands of deer being killed. If you really think deer being killed is the main concern then you should hate hunters, not coyotes. I'm done. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

I bet you don't have an overpopulation issue when we're talking animals YOU deem useful though... Walleyes or bass? Deer? I'm just saying, if there's an "overpopulation" of coyotes then the critters they eat may be too. Nature levels itself out. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
