Brought back some blue mountain coffee from Jamaica this summer and after drinking lots of various coffees all these years, I never knew how good this stuff is. Wow!

I once found my blind in a hedge row a quarter mile away. Blew my mind how it got there but it certainly tumbled a long way. Several roda broke too.

Mature deer in every woodlot? Even I would get sick of that. Some of the crap that is posted on this site amazes me.

There's shortage on the accutips in the 20g 2 3/4 and a few other combinations. Nowhere to be found except for old stock. Two different shops told me Remington isn't releasing any lots they have stockpiled. Both places also surmised it is because they don't have any and production lines are down for the relocation to Alabama. Heard same story from two different places geographically, so might have some truth to it.

Obviously the best thing is to test them in each gun. But I really really like the Remington Accutips. SSTs were mediocre for me although I killed a handful of deer with them. My FIL killed a buck at 160 yds with one. Ive killed deer with the accutips at close range and longe (15 yds out to 125 yds) and expansion/energy imparting has been great. Most people I see shooting these are either shooting H&R ultra slugs or the Savage bolt actions.

the 336w is a nice gun. Dicks/ field and stream sold them for 350 with a scope last black friday. Me and my buddy picked one up each. Nice guns.

No offense, but I want them minimizing their time on this BS. Because that is what it is when comparing a deer to their mission at hand, saving PEOPLE's lives. Look, we all want the best for the deer in that scenario. But, at the end of the day, quickly resolve the disruption and get back to saving lives. If one person died as a result of that effort to "save" the deer, that's pretty darn screwed up. Screw the "good press" component.

ME and Moog hunt property that border a park with a jogging trail in the sightline. You can even hear the conversations. I love it late season when it times just right when a doe is asking for it and a jogger is going by. Their reactions are priceless to the 20g. And yes, it's safe...shooting away from them. But it's loud no doubt and they jump a bit.

I can't say I believe that to be true. I've seen too much of the opposite to believe otherwise. I also rarely believe in concrete statements like "always" or "never" when it comes to big bucks and big buck hunting. A lot of bedding in swamps are wind-based, but not all big bucks will try to get nose to wind. Especially if they are bedding with satellite bucks or does around them.
