Wart. Some of my camera critters have them. One of the bucks that had one on its front knee seemed to have lost his when he lost his velvet last year. Can't say there is any correlation.

The Burris scopes have a ballistic reticle that I find to be pretty simple. Even my vortex diamondback has a similar reticle. Nothing too crazy IMO.

Opening day I use my dad's hand me down rem 788 in .308. It's a sentimental thing even though my dad is still hunting with me. After that it's either my tc impact or my 336 in 30-30 open sights.

The whole DMP thing really confuses the snot out of me. Personally I don't think the dec knows what the duck their foing. It appears they are constantly changing things... Too extremes....which thereby suggests they are clueless. I didn't get a DMP for 4-O but I can take a doe with my bow or MZ......ok. If I only hunted gun than no doe.....but next year with 3 pp.....I will assume I get selected for a DMP and I can still take a doe with bow or MZ. Now in PA, I get a buck tag.... And maybe a doe tag.. Regardless of implement used. Cut and dry. Healthy herd.

Managed a few practice climbs yesterday before my trip bak to the city. Made some modifications to the stand by removing the summit rapid climbers and adding a good ole rubber tie down strap for my feet. Also added the third hand archery straps and the third hand archery bow holder. I think I was quiet for the most part and setting the climber up went smoothly. Still wouldn't try climbing in the dark yet. My biggest issue is packing the thing up. I got college but apparently not enough to pack up a climbing stand.

I can hold at full draw, comfortably, for just under 2 min. amd still hit what I'm aiming at. Maybe that doesn't seem like much but since i strengthened my core, back and shoulders my hold time has increased. This is under range conditions. I don't draw on deer until I have a shot opportunity.

Seems logical enough. But I have heard from multiple sources that the reintroduced wolves are over killing in certain areas. Is what it is I guess.

Nice gun. Good luck. I got my marlin 30-30 two Junes ago and it has become one of my favorites to shoot. I left it with the stock sights and plan to still hunt with it one day. It shoots really nice groups with the hornady levelution. Unfortunately I waited to long to get one and mine is made by remington not marlin. Takes away from it a bit IMO

Nothing changed for me in my area besides the antler restriction which I have been under for a few years now. IMO I think NYS can't manage a deer herd. This is just my opinion.

I mix all my camo. Imo it breaks up my outline better. My go to tree stand get up is M.O. Bottomland pants, tiger camo top in early season and horizon camo top in late season. When I'm still hunting I'm all mixed up.

I agree with your definition. IMO big woods means you will run in Sasquatch before you run into another hunter.

I have them and tried them on a watermelon. Took a few tries before the bullet even fired. The idea is good but what would this thing do to a deer if it didn't actually fire? Coyote or other varmint don't care too much but I bet this thing could cause a nice wound on a deer if it didn't go off. I will stick to using mine on fruit and porcupines trying to eat the siding on the cabin

Came out real nice. Solid memory for sure.

Seeing them like that makes me want to annihilate coyotes more and more.
