I have butchered about 10 here in DMU 3M and the does have some not as much as one might expect for the amount of food around seeing about 1/2 on most up to a 1'' on the older does, and the bucks have a little 1/4 inch although I skinned a nice 8 pt on Sunday not a ounce of fat anywhere miserable skinning them like that.

just in case you need more help hang the clothes over the rope
-
a rope between two post or trees would work for drying them also I have seen it done LOL!!
-
so what there saying is I would need two signs on the corner markers of my land go figure!! and just for the so everyone knows this posted deal is because some knuckle head walked onto or farm lands got hurt (not badly) and is now suing this has nothing to do with hunting.
-
on the DEC site it says up to 660' apart not sure if that would leave a open door to get between them or not
-
I don't know what effects it has on deer but I do think it makes turkey gobble more when theirs a low pressure reading, I have always looked at deer as a slave to there stomachs there going to have to move and eat and any change be it getting cold are rain seems to move them more
-
Does anyone know if there is a certain date that your posted signs must be put up to be enforced, I have looked thru the DEC web sites to no avail.

since I retired 1/1/2015 this is going to hopefully be the first year I get to go out more then for days and I have a grand daughter just counting the days until sat to go with me and set in the stand she helped me build its fully enclosed and yes it has heat as she is only seven.

Strangest thing you have seen/ have had happen while hunting
Critter4321 replied to ApexerER's topic in General Hunting
I had a hen turkey peck the eyelets of my boot when I was spring turkey hunting, also have a real nice pic of a bobcat walking under my stand while bow hunting 2 yrs ago and I watched a great horned owl case a squirrel thru a swamp I might add it didn't end well for the squirrel. last year I watched a bald eagle picking on a road kill deer that was dead in a field. -
Thats a nice one I see its last years But its still a nice buck
-
Ok I'm in I might of taking a doe 10-15 seconds after sunset but I do believe it didn't change the taste of her

You Couldn't drag me into this with a rope after the last 5 page B/S session I think we have heard it all

yes I have bought two of them one runs like a brand new machine the other is a brand new paper weight wont run at all, and I bought them both from the same company. Both are 110 cc the only issue I have had with the one that runs is a voltage regulator seemed to burn out they are pretty cheap about $6 on amazon. Also keep in mind they come on a pallet takes about a hour to put it tougher I had to install shocks tires steering handle bars not really tough stuff just try to buy local that way you can find someone to work on them and as to my second one the paper weight if you need parts PM me its has a electrical issue!!
-
you can count me in with the xbow group I tore up both shoulders years ago and had to put my compound away so yes I will be out every chance I get with my xbow I have however not really seen a influx of other hunters out since the opener.
