  1. As I read this thread, I'm kind of considering this in a couple of small areas. Are they drawn to the new growth stage, mature plant, or both?
  2. Thought this would be interesting for this thread. Written in May, but showed up on my FB newsfeed today. I thinks it's national hot dog day? https://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/lifestyle/rocflavors/2018/05/22/best-rochester-hot-dog-taste-test/595210002/
  3. Several times since we got ours last winter, comes out great!
  4. Absolutely beautiful Wooly!!
  5. Happy Anniversary Rob. Glad you joined a year ago! I've enjoyed reading your posts, and look forward to many more!
  6. Brooklyn Defender IPA. Not bad.
  7. Wow! I don't even dream them that big! Thanks for sharing!
  8. You have an interesting profession! Got any "best of" pics?
  9. Those are some nice looking deer! Do you sell them all? Do you keep any older ones just for the heck of it or to show customers the potential? Love to see what one of those look like at the 5-6 year mark.
  10. Geez, when I read this header, I thought if was an awfully personal question. But if you must know, it's usually off to the left when not deployed...
  11. This is a great idea! Sign me up, please. I certainly don't expect to win, but am looking forward to participating with some entries!!
  12. I really hope this isn't true, but if it is, Shady is done and rightfully so. The actions (if true) are reprehensible. Hoping that it's a case of a jilted girlfriend. http://www.foxnews.com/sports/2018/07/10/nfl-star-lesean-shady-mccoy-accused-beating-girlfriend-son-and-using-drugs.html
  13. I'm a day late, but Happy Birthday Phade!
  14. I've got a 2003 Yamaha Grizzly 660 and a 2009 Grizzly 450. Bought them both new and besides routine maintenance, I've never had to do a thing but enjoy them. The 660 has been a beast. I've disked food plots with pull behind discs, carried deer with two people crammed on, and just bombed around on it for fun for years. Plenty of power. I'm kind of looking at the new Grizzlies with FI and power steering just to upgrade the 03. Not because I need to, just sort of want a new machine. Kind of intrigued with the Viking too.
  15. I run them all year and have 10 going right now. We live here so we're out and about with the ATVs or doing something with the tractor frequently. The deer are generally used to our activity, but I keep most of the cams near field edges or at least near trails where I can ride up to them and keep my "boots on the ground" at a minimum when tending to them. I pulled cards last weekend and for one cam I had a group of does and two fawns watching as I swapped cards. They weren't bothered by me, and were still there when I rode away. I like running them year round to see the progression of the seasons with the local wildlife population. Velvet development and babies this time of year, hard horn in the fall, survivors after deer season, and the turkey flock return in March/April.
  16. A bock to rock the 4th!
  17. I wonder if the DEC shares the story of a tagged bear if you have the tag number. Looks like 819, maybe 815?
  18. Wow Wooly, they look great!
