Sounded like she was just fed up with it. I can have a bit of fun with it once in a while too, but some of it was relentless to her. Can't say that I wouldn't do the same thing if I was sick of it. It's not like any of us are paid to post here. Too bad, she added to the community here.

Yup, I lurked for a few years before joining and learned a few things from her posts. Pretty crappy situation that a few jackholes can chase off an old time member like that.

@Biz-R-OWorld I PM'd back and forth with her a bit after the last thread that she got bashed on pretty heavily. She said she's done with the forum, was going to delete her content etc. and that she wouldn't be back. Hope she changes her mind, she contributed heavily to the forum and she'll be missed by many.

I'm a realist, but I'm immersed in the week. Four more wins!

New England would be next. KC would have to win against Ten and Pit (if I have that right). That's a tough haul. Of course the Bills would have to beat Jax and then NE in NE to face KC in the AFC title game. That's a tougher haul, but anything can happen!

Still running 9 cams year round. I only bring them back to the house once in a while to give them a good cleaning. I've stayed with Duracells for the winter months and have had great luck. I've got two cameras with those tractor supply batteries. I had great luck during the warmer months so we'll see how they fare through the cold temps. Although they were 2-3 months old going into December. Should be a tough test!

They squeaked into the playoffs with the absolutely squeakiest of squeaky squeaks. But it's good to enjoy this for a week. Anything can happen, and there's a surprising upset every year. If they get Shady back and Tyrod has at least as good of a game as yesterday, they can absolutely beat the Jags. The defense needs to keep the Jags below 20 points. Really need McCoy to be back with that ankle at 80% though. But if that happens then it's off to the stadium of doom in Foxboro.

Before the bustle of Christmas Eve gets cranking up, I wanted to take a minute to wish everyone here a Merry Christmas! Hope your holidays are enjoyable, and hope Camo Santa brings you everything on your list!

I have to admit, that just looks like a ton of fun! Blasting around at low elevations in a helicopter, shooting fun guns. Crap the only thing missing is a naked girl and then it would check all the boxes for me!

Lol, there's a chance you may be shot while not wearing blaze orange. But if I'm in that stall, there's 100% certainty you get my shoe in your face!

I just trespassed in ahead of you, cut the head off of it and left the rest. I would have taken the backstraps too at least, but had my hands full carrying the two trail cameras I found that someone must've forgotten that they left in the woods.

But no one is shooting from a tree stand. 'Cause that would be unfair..

We had pretty much our best season this year. Everyone got a deer, and my wife and I best shot our best bucks 2 days apart. Got a bow doe and filled my remaining doe tag with my grandson with me. For the worst moment, I dealt with a new neighbor on the road trespassing on us and actually shooting a doe on our property. On the opening morning of the regular season no less. I was overrun with trespassers years ago when we first acquired the place. Encounters were frequent and messy but It's been pretty quiet for 3 years now. I took a different approach with this guy and was pretty nice to him, considering he just poached a deer off of us, and effed up our opening morning. So far, so good. No sightings of them, nothing on the cams, and no unexplained shots out back. So I guess I learned that taking the high road can work well too. We'll see if it lasts.

You know, I've been ogling these online for a while now. Anyone here have one? Do you like it?

There was a very informative thread on here a while back about the effects of killing an amount of the "home range" coyote pack and what happens when new ones move in. That thread caused me to do a bit a googling and I must say I gained a new perspective on the subject. I can't find it searching here. Anybody?

When I have time, I like to play along until they lose interest. I act all concerned and am "glad" for their help. It goes like this; "Sure, thanks so much, let me turn my computer on" "wait a minute, it takes a while" "uh-oh, looks like it's doing some updates" "Oh, now it has to restart" "wait a minute, it takes a while" "Uh-oh, my screen just froze, hang on while I try restarting it again" I lose them somewhere around there. Like I said, when I have time...

That's what I quickly discovered. I've given it a couple of half-hearted tries at night. Apparently I'm a lousy coyote hunter!
