  1. I need a new fish finder to replace the 20 year old, intermittently working one on that came on the Starcraft I picked up last year. I was looking at Humminbirds but this looks nice, and at a good price point too.
  2. Nice looking pup - welcome to the new member of your family!
  3. Smoked fish is easy to make. That’s probably what’s been in my smoker the most. Find a good brine recipe, and soak per instructions. Easy prep, and easy in the smoker. I try to use cuts of the same thickness, and rotate the trays. Fish takes in smoke flavor very well.
  4. I watched two games last weekend, and watched the NY/Washington game today. I was entertained but going into it, I wasn’t expecting NFL level play. I wanted to like NY, but Washington dominated last week and this week behind Cardale Jones at QB. Jones was with the Bills a few years ago, but mostly had only preseason usage. Cardale made it fun to watch today, and it’s nice to have football on still.
  5. Too many deer around bear is like saying there's too much food on the buffet.
  6. I couldn't decide which emoji to use - sad cause GF might not make it or Like for the Bass Pro/beer part, lol.
  7. Careful, I looked at the definitions section of the law and it lists "revolving cylinder shotgun" as an assault weapon and does not have any features as a disqualifier. It does say if it's operated as a pump or bolt, it's OK. (d) any of the weapons, or functioning frames or receivers of such weapons, or copies or duplicates of such weapons, in any caliber, known as: (i) Norinco, Mitchell, and Poly Technologies Avtomat Kalashnikovs (all models); (ii) Action Arms Israeli Military Industries UZI and Galil; (iii) Beretta Ar70 (SC-70); (iv) Colt AR-15; (v) Fabrique National FN/FAL, FN/LAR, and FNC; (vi) SWD M-10, M-11, M-11/9, and M-12; (vii) Steyr AUG; (viii) INTRATEC TEC-9, TEC-DC9 and TEC-22; and (ix) revolving cylinder shotguns, such as (or similar to) the Street Sweeper and Striker 12; (e) provided, however, that such term does not include: (i) any rifle, shotgun or pistol that (A) is manually operated by bolt, pump, lever or slide action; (B) has been rendered permanently inoperable; or (C) is an antique firearm as defined in 18 U.S.C. 921(a)(16);
  8. I’m not up on revolvers, but i wrote “regardless of action”, and that was poorly worded. I was just googling around and I think NYS considers it technically a semi because of the one per trigger pull thing.
  9. This is a revolving cylinder shotgun, right? Or is it a rimfire or center fire? Unless I’m mistaken (and I sure could be with this confusing law), King Cuomo made revolving cylinder shotguns illegal regardless of type of action.
  10. Flutie Flakes on the trophy shelf - excellent! We have that one and the blue one. What's to the left of the Flutie Flakes box?
  11. Still have a MC license, but haven't ridden since my 20's (long time ago). Had a sweet Yamaha Special 650 - was the first thing I ever bought new. Got hit by a car, and that kind of took the shine off riding for me. I was lucky, just banged up and bruised and walked away. Got the bike fixed and sold it after letting it collect dust for a year.
  12. I don't see Toyota in that list....
