  1. If you click on the indicator it will explain what is going on at the location. https://511ny.org/
  2. Hope all is well and you have a wonder birthday
  3. Hope you have a great day and if you don't get a cake get that saw out and carve one.
  4. It is a lot more complicated. Most hunting breeds are bred to hunt a particular game animal and sometimes cross trained to run something else. For example some hounds will run a bear and or coon. Some will run coyotes and or fox but you won't get them to run a rabbit or hunt birds. Most "dog" hunters don't want their dog running anything else but the game they are after. On occasion you will find one that you can squirrel hunt with during the day and coon hunt with at night. You can also come across beagles that will run a rabbit and also a bird like grouse or pheasant but those kind are rare and hard to come by. It all depends on what kind of game you are looking to hunt with a dog.
  5. The best way to "hunt them" is with a good dog After skinning literally hundreds of them I honestly would not eat one. At one time I did have a market for the carcasses for $5.00 a piece which helped pay for gas. If you know what you are doing and when to hunt they can be called in the day time. In order to get them at night you need a good dog similar to one like this that was a triple champion. Unfortunately he is no longer with us:
  6. Forget it...It disappeared from the birthday column...Actually it is tomorrow. A Christmas baby
  7. To wish wolc 123 a Happy Birthday
  8. Crown Royal..my second favorite. It would probably be my first if it wasn't so expensive but definitely a smooth one.
  9. I am pretty close to it. BV & ginger for me all year round. Since I am not driving maybe a few more at x-mas
  10. When I bought mine it came with handwarmer grips Not sure if the new 28's have them or not but trust me even if you have to add them they are well worth it.
  11. Where is Water Rat with our Christmas humor?? Doesn't look like he has been around sine 11/9
  12. Or for about $3600 you can get one of these babies
  13. I do both. I have pushed a lot of snow with the four wheeler but as noted by Moho81 once you run out of room or the piles get frozen there is nowhere to push it any further. Plus if the snow is heavy a blower will move it a lot better than a four wheeler but a four wheeler can be faster.
  14. From our home to yours Merry Christmas. Hope everyone has a safe and happy day.
  15. I have one that is 20 years old and it has been very dependable. Love the heated hand grips. They sure make a difference. It has always handled anything I threw at it. I just upgrade to the 30" sho last year and it performs just as good as the old one and will throw the snow a lot farther. The new steering system is the cats meow. Ariens is the only one I will ever buy unless I hit lotto and purchase a rider with a front mounted blower. Here is an example of what my 10/28 accomplished in 2017. My driveway is a 100' long and I do the sidewalks etc. The snow is over 5 feet.
  16. I miss them also: One of his older ones:
  17. DEC Querying Hunters about Crossbow Use Hunters in New York have been allowed to use crossbows to hunt big game since 2011. Currently, crossbows may be used by any person age 14 or older to hunt deer, bear, and most small game species. To better understand the level of crossbows use, and how that may change if laws associated with crossbow use are modified, we’re asking hunters to respond to a brief survey. A random selection of licensed hunters will be sent the questionnaire via e-mail in the coming weeks and are encouraged to respond.
  18. You obviously are not a Trump supporter which is your right. Irregardless Obama and others had the same issues. A lot of what they try to accomplish relies on the house and or senate support. Regardless of what a president wants they can only do so much without support. That is why we always end up with lame duck presidents. Until they start doing their jobs it will pretty much stay status quo. They will continue to waste time and our money and worry about taking care of themselves and their own interests. The Democrats have all ready proclaimed that instead of addressing issues that effect the country and the people they represent they will begin by starting more investigations on Trump. How does the country benefit from that?
  19. From the gentleman that started it: A triple amputee veteran Update 10 Posted by Brian Kolfage 15 hours ago Hey guys people out there are trying to discourage you and spreading lies. I'll set it straight. If the wall gets funded by the govt, this fund will no longer be needed. My original promise stands true to refund. However many people also don't want a refund and would like it to go to a charity since it's such a large amount; actually most people have said donate it . IF... the wall gets funded, you will have two options, refund or donate. We pay will process all refunds, and then what is left over we will donate to a recognized charity that we agree on. Furthermore, we are pushing on, the wall has not been funded yet. DON'T STOP! THE MISSION CONTINUES!
  20. I don't have them yet but if I can get one or tow of the one I saw a couple of times this fall I will post. She is a HOG.
  21. That was a campaign promise he made I don't think he ever intended to keep. He may have a plan to have Mexico pay for it through other means as a result of the wall being built but who knows. I don't think he does a good job of explaining his reasoning to the American people for things he has done or wants to do and some times wonder if he actually has a plan but at least he has some ideas that are "outside" the box.
  22. I think if you were to watch a few episodes of the program "Border Wars" you would get a better understanding of why it would be a good idea to build a wall. It is not just the people coming in; it is also one of the major means of trafficking drugs into the country. The illegals alone cost us millions if not billions every year. Once they make it across we (taxpayers) foot the bill for their getting "established" in the country and all the health care costs related to them and their family members. If they come across pregnant and give birth here (which we pay for) their children automatically become citizens and we care for them for who knows how long. Watch a few episodes of "Border Wars" and get a better understanding of what it is costing us every single day to try and secure the southern borders and let us know how you feel after that.
  23. I have never had a problem (knock on wood) but a prepaid card probably wouldn't be a bad idea if they accept it.
