At that rate you could probably throw the whole deer in there and just remove the hair and bones when complete

I have this one from Cabela's. It does ok and is rated at "400" watts but is not rated for lbs. per minute. It will do a good job if you take your time and don't force it. I got it as a gift but if I was to buy one myself it would be a 1/2 hp which I believe is rated at 7lbs per hr. I think you would get better performance and longevity from a model that size. Here is mine and it does ok Cabela's Heavy-Duty Meat Grinder $99.99 SKU: 2516153 https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/cabelas-heavy-duty-meat-grinder

I would love to see that shot on a 25 yd. deer. Actually I probably wouldn't because it would more than likely end up with a miss, or bad hit, especially with a scope.

Some times you need two to keep water out of the barrel. You are a right handed shooter standing or sitting by a tree and a deer sneaks in on your right side. What then??

How about "pollece" (police)

Actually it is pretty easy. Just un-snap three buckle and you are good to go...trust me

The only use I have had for one was a few times deer hunting. I have carried my .40 s&w in it and found it to be easier to pull than reaching on the hip when a deer is close and don't want a lot of movement. The chest type like turkeyfeathers uses would be my preference when sitting but I have not found one yet to my liking. I could see where walking with one all day could be cumbersome that is why I only use it on occasion.

No reason to feel that way...I do the same thing. The only time I am concealed is when I am in public. One time I stopped along rt. 81 to assist in a car accident and was visibly carrying. The state trooper asked if I had a permit. I said yes and that was the end of it. He never asked to see the permit or pursed the conversation. I was just reacting to the post from sbuff and wasn't intending to ruffle any feathers. You can rest easy tonight and sleep well

Actually these can be pretty handy:
-
Open Carry in New York State. Openly carrying a firearm is illegal everywhere in New York City for civilians. Outside the city, open carry is allowed only while hunting or on a shooting range. Concealed carry permit holders must keep their weapons concealed.

Hope you enjoy your day and your shopping at places other than Dick's & F&S

When I have purchased a bow I buy with the thought of using it for a long time. As long as it can still do what I expect it to ,doesn't require constant repairs, and enjoy shooting it, I see no need to buy a new one. I shoot a lot of arrows before hunting season, (not so much during ) so dependability is important to me. If I like what I have I seldom look to upgrade or change and know some guys that have "up graded" only to end up going back to their old bow because they were more comfortable with it. I have yet to buy a crossbow and will hold out as long as I can. Not knocking crossbows...Just no interest at the present time.

I've posted this before but will put it out there again. I pin 3-4 balloons to my foam bale with a finish nail. I only shoot at one with each arrow. You can blow them up to any size you want and locate them anywhere on the bale. It makes you concentrate on one spot each time you shoot and eliminates damage to arrows, fletching, and nocks. Easy clean up, cheap to buy, and you aren't shooting in the same spot every time tearing up the bale.

I don't think all my hunting clothes together would add up to $489 and I stay plenty warm. -

To bad the media wouldn't put that all over the news. Maybe chucky would shrink away like the wicked witch in the wizard of Oz. -
Definitely looks like a couple of hot spots

That is sweet. I have been shopping around but have been unable to find a semi-auto for under a $1000

Never happen in NY. It would rot out from underneath you way before that.

Gas Prices are much lower in other states. Why?

Easy Answer: -
I primarily use a climber but hang one or two ladder stands. I lock the stands with a chain & padlock when installed and at the end of the season pull them. The one ladder I put out this year has all ready been removed and is stored away safely.

Hope you have a great day. It should be a good one to sip some merlot
