  1. Happy birthday! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I was driving back to Michigan when the blizzard of '96 hit. It took me 36 hours on what normally would take me less than 12 hours. Doing 10 mph on some stretches of I-80 through Pennsylvania. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. As and New York Giants fan, I'll root for Seattle to win. As a Michigan Wolverine alum, I'll root for Tom Brady to do well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Welcome to the forum and thanks for your service. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Not sure how it's effecting states that ban Sunday hunting but if they ban Sunday hunting here in NY it would really put a damper in my hunting. Outside of taking some days off from work during deer season, all my hunting is limited to weekends. If I have plans on Sunday, I'll hunt Saturday. If I have plans on Saturday, I'll hunt Sunday. Not being able to hunt Sundays would really cut into my time in the woods.
  6. At the 3:42 mark when he was reloading. The trigger assembly came out with the magazine? Interesting.
  7. Looks like it was professionally done. Great job!
  8. Are you talking about the survival rifle where everything breaks down and fits into the butt stock?
  9. Signed up. Free class...can't hurt. Already read "A Sand County Almanac". Thanks for posting, Mike.
  10. Have you checked the H&R Ultra Slug guns? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. 4 Super Bowls on my life time. I think I did alright. But in all honesty, I never pick the team I follow,. It is always the teams I was introduced to when I was young. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Maybe I'm not fortunate to hunt private land or have large tracks of farm land and food plots to hunt over but I don't go out specifically to hunt a buck or a doe. I'll take anything I'm fortunate enough to take. If it happens to be a buck, sure, I'll keep the antlers and display them but that's not what I'm going out there for. I would be just as pleased with a fat doe. I guess the only thing that would change is if the only thing I see all day is a buck and I'm not allowed to take it.
  13. I was watching HBO's documentary "Terror At The Mall" last night about the terrorist attack on the shopping mall in Kenya. What was interesting was the SWAT team and military took almost 3 hours to finally arrived. The bulk of the police that were near by that decided that they couldn't sit around and longer and watch people die and decided to rush into the mall were Muslim themselves. One of them took a shot to the stomach during the gun fight. They were able to save a bunch of innocent people due to their actions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. Dude, he stinks and way over rated. I'm not sure if any of you have been paying attention to the disaster that is the New York Jets.
  16. I wouldn't say it was completely random. The kind of stuff Charlie Hebdo was printing were extremely tasteless and offensive. Just that the western world would not have resorted to violence. I don't think anyone has ever said anything ever that deserves death for saying it. As far as random, it should have been expected. Muslim extremist have made numerous promises of retribution since the satire was printed. I though of the same exact thing that Mr VJP said. So many people were close enough to record this on their cell phones. If this was Texas, those terrorists would long have been shot before they even reach the building. It was decent. It's not really a cook book. It's along the line of MeatEater as it follows his adventures as he tries to replicate some of the dishes found in Escoffier's Le Guide Culinaire. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
