  1. I have two. Had the mini version for some time now and just got the regular sized one for this season. Love them. You just need to use them for what they are...razors. Don't try cutting through bone or use them as wedges, etc.
  2. Headed back to 3S with teg bow after seeing zilch in Sterling. Nothing so far but heard from others that they saw some action down here yesterday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. If I only have a split second to shoot, I'm not shooting. I'm usually staring at he deer for some time picking out the best shot opportunity. I ax clearly ID a hunter in that amount of time. It's these hunters making quick shots at the slightest movements that are causing these accidents. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Hello guys,

    Welcome to the forum, Ray.

  6. Straight from online dictionary. I thought it was just made up term but apparently it's a real word. pussyfoot [poo s-ee-foo t] verb (used without object) 1. to go or move in a stealthy or cautious manner. 2. to act cautiously or timidly, as if afraid to commit oneself on a point at issue. 7. Most people would want to know a little more about you first. And vice versa. Think about it. You're walking into the middle of no where that most likely won't have cellular service. With a stranger that has a loaded gun walking behind you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. I was thinking of buying one of those signs and planting it in front of my blind to encourage the deer to cross in front of me but I was afraid that it would be considered baiting.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Nothing to be jealous of. I took Monday and Tuesday off thinking it would be prime hunting. Instead it rains Monday and I didn't see anything with 4 legs all day Tuesday. Plus it was windy and freezing. I got to Sterling at around 9AM and didn't hear a single gunshot till around 4PM way in the distance. I stayed around Indian Hill area but not on Indian Hill. 12. 2 hour sit in the morning, 2 and half hour sit at the end of the day. Still hunt in between to keep my body warm. It's was brutal. My sits were basically me curled up into a ball. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. If you get enough bad apples on the news people will start to group them all together. Just like how some people just hate cops. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Funniest response I got from that's was "all the meat I buy came from animals that died of natural causes". Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Northern section near Indian Hill. Finally heard a gun shot just now wwaayyyy in the distance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. At Sterling. Bumped into 5 hunters on my hike on. Haven't heard a single gun shot all day so far. Where the heck are the deer? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Stuff usually goes on major discount during off season. I bought a nice winter coat one summer off Cabelas for like $60. Wearing it right now with sweat shirt and t shirt in Sterling at 25 degrees weather and i'm fine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Congratulations on your first. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I've reached my "likes" quota so I'll say congratulations. Those are some nice looking bucks!
  20. Congratulations on the buck and successful surgery.
  21. Yes, I agree. From your elbows that's pretty good shooting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Nice job, Grizz! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. 5lbs is a bit on the heavy side for my liking but everyone has their own preferences. Heavy trigger pull tends to make you move the rifle a tiny bit when pulling the trigger. You have to remember that the tiniest of movement can mean the difference of an inch when out to 100 yards. For bench and competition shooting, you want a hair trigger (super light). For hunting purposes, you want a little bit of extra weight on the pull so any little twig won't set it off. I like to keep my rifles at around 2.5 to 3.5 lbs of trigger pull.
