  1. Coating here in western monroe county.gotta head to batavia today which is prob a different story,really wanted to go fox hunting today too.property is in genesee county and it looks like that band may b sitting over it for a while now!

  3. Family usually gets together at cousins place but not this year due to obvious reasons.Just Parents and cousin coming over today for small christmas dinner,keeping it simple this year.ham,scalloped and smashed taters,stuffing,coleslaw and rolls.
  4. Noticed the change aswell.have kept everything the same as when i started and gotta say im not gunna complain after the start we had when the virus hit.keeps goin up!
  5. Got mine to go hunting once years back and that was it.ruined it when i shot a fox and it made an aweful noise(got em though!!!),has never went with me again!would love for her to go with me but will take it as "my time" to relax. throw flowers/dinner dates in throughout the year,she still gives me the evil eye regardless when i tell her im hunting all weekend.i think it would be different if she enjoyed the venison,she wont touch it.....more for me!!!!

  7. Always forget to post,simple dinner as always.baked bnless prk chop w/ peppers&onions.broccoriiii and chizzzz,baked potato slices with helluva good bacon horseradish dip on top.love this dip,pretty good in smashed taters too!plating sucks as always but filling!

  9. Took a slow walk this afternoon with the .17 hmr incase i saw any tree rats.few sets of deer tracks,ALOT of fox tracks,rabbit and squirrel.looking forward to some small critter action!

  11. First experience and road test was in an automatic but have drove standards a number of times.first few times was rough but made it back to starting point haha.last time i got in one it went pretty smooth

Keep it pretty simple Pines stand--southwest corner stand--creek stand--cousins ground blind--buddy stand behind cousin's ground blind--spider hut(cousin named it as he is scared chitless of spider's n it was full of babies during bow).used to have some old wooden houses my grandfather built that are now unsafe and broken apart.(big house,slaughter house and hightower)
  13. Is a 45min ride for me so not too bad.just thinking of other options to lighten the pressure on the small piece of private we have. Permit required for tonawanda???
  14. Just took a drive through there for first time while i was out that way.Saw a fair amount of vehicles parked,some guys target shooting.Anyone hunt it this year??Seems like a pretty wet area to try and get through.May try it for next season so any info is appreciated!!!!!

Up and having coffee.last day of the 2020 deer season for us.overall i cant complain,we all saw deer and i harvested my biggest buck to date during bow.got dad and cousin in shooting range of deer,just didnt connect/get shot.deff need to make some land improvements for next season. Already thinking of maybe a few crow/tree rat/fox hunts in the coming weeks
