  10. She’s definitely the more athletic one of the two. She might be the best hitter on the team Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. It’s machine pitch. Usually jugs but that night they had the spring arm style one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. 8U won again last night. They are still undefeated and my youngest went 5-5 and made a nice catch at 1st base to get the runner out. Now we are off for the weekend. Headed out camping to the Old Forge area. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  14. They say youth bowling is the fastest growing youth sport today. It's way bigger today than it was when I was a kid in terms of tournaments and high end competition. It's not cheap either! I think the anticipation of getting hit is the problem. At the tournament several of her team mates where hit by pitches, of course none of them real bad and now she's stepping out on good pitches. My plan was to pitch a little faster to her than the last time I did it so it's more like game day pitches and to "accidentally" hit her a time or two real soft she she can feel it and not be afraid of it.
  15. A bunch of canceled games last week so neither kid played but over the weekend my youngest daughter participated in a state wide bowling tournament. She had to qualify during league play to get into a regional qualifier. From the regional she had to be top 2 in that event to make it to the State tournament. In the end she was in the top 20 girls across the state grade 4 and under that made it to the State event. At the event she placed 5th out of 20 girls to earn a $75 scholarship. Ok back to softball, 8U played Monday and won so they remain undefeated! I was not able to attend so I don't know all the particulars but I heard my daughter hit well. 12U played yesterday and where missing a few key players which hurt them in the end and they lost 10-3. That was there first loss on the season in there league. They are now 5-1. My daughter still does not have a hit and now after the tournament it seems as though she's afraid of the ball while standing in the batters box. I've watched her step out of several pitches as if they where close to hitting her but they where called strikes. Both times she was up last night she did that and ended up being 2-0 and swinging on the next pitch to strike out. I wanted to get her out and practice batting several times but either the weather or our schedule just didn't allow it.
  16. Beautiful home and landscaping!
  17. At least it sounds like you have a good attitude about it!
  18. Y'all kind of got my pumped up a bit. When I first he first told me about the gun I was indifferent about it only because I didn't know anything about it. Now it's sounding like it's a quality piece and a shooter.
  19. I haven't even shot a super redhawk yet so who knows I may not even like it. I've got plans to shoot the redhawk with a friend here in a few weeks. I'll have to get the Dan Wesson out to the range as well and see what one I like. I wasn't planning on buying a new gun just yet. Thankfully there's never a bad time to buy a gun. LOL
  20. Heat and AC. No bugs. I'm in!
  21. Very interesting stuff. Long story short I may have a chance at purchasing a Dan Wesson 44 mag. 2 barrels one barrel with a Bushnell 6x scope on it already. I was thinking about a super red Hawk for hunting but this has come along and peaked my interest a little bit and not only could I get it cheaper than a super red Hawk it was also once owned by someone I knew who has since passed away. 22. What’s the groups knowledge on Dan Wesson handguns? I know nothing about them. From reading on line they are accurate and reliable. Interested in knowledge especially on the 44 mag with interchangeable barrels. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I don't think it's possible to kill either of those plants.
  24. I'm pretty sure my parents still have our set at the house. I fondly remember being very young and throwing them up as high and as far as you could. I don't think I ever played an actual game of jarts as they where intended to be used.
  25. No big fire sale on unwanted items like @BizCT ? Kidding Biz don't get all worked up Congratulations!
