12u is all done for the year so that leaves us with 2 games of 8U left. Last night was the first of those two games. They where down 7-0 in the third and rallied back to win 10-9. Their batting was off for the first couple of innings then they found their groove. My daughter went 4-4 and had some pretty good fielding again. I’m looking forward to it being over for the year but I’ll also miss going to the games and watching them play. 8U won again last night. My daughter had a hit and got on base every time she was up. It was either 5 or 6 times I can’t remember I think the heat killed my memory. 12U plays there last regular season game tonight and I can’t attend so I’m sure this will be when my daughter gets her first hit. 12U has an in house tournament this weekend. 3 games Saturday and the top 4 make it to Sunday. They are in 3rd right now in the regular season at 8-1 and are scheduled to play 2 teams that’s are at the bottom of the standings and the current 1st place team in the league who is undefeated on Saturday for qualifying. I make it a point to not look. I did about a month ago because I had a meeting with my financial advisor. I was down about 20% then and I'm sure I'm down even more. On her advice I moved a few things around and upped my contribution by 2%. Her line of thinking was now is the time to invest when everything is low.
