  1. Was that cube steak served with a bottle of ketchup and 2 gallons of milk? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Tuna charter

Sounds like a blast! Being in WNY I always forget that we have these fish off our east coast and do not have to fly out for an experience like that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. No boat unfortunately
  4. Salt, pepper and cooked on a medium flame in a non stick pan for 3 hours per side served with a half a bottle of ketchup and 2 gallons of milk. Also you lost me at A1. The only place for A1 is in the trash. Everything else sounded fine
  5. Maybe I am traumatized from my childhood but whenever cube steaks get mentioned all I ever wonder is why? We had them often (I assume because they where a cheap meat) they where always dry yet greasy. I had to douse them with ketchup to make then edible. My poor mother thought I had an obsession with ketchup growing up. I do not have the heart to tell her that I loved ketchup so much growing up because it made her well done everything taste better.
  6. Non HD I believe. To me the glass was still crystal clear.
  7. Yeah normally $249. I went in to get my license and get a look at the Crossfire 10x42 at $149 but they had the diamondbacks on sale so I went with them instead. For once in my life I had good timing as I didn't even know they had them on sale.
  8. I completely forgot about this thread. I swung into Cabalas last night and picked up Vortex Diamondback 10x42 for $169.99 at that price point I am super happy with them. Super clear glass. Can't wait to use them in the woods instead of just in the parking lot. LOL
  9. I can't even find 243 online. It's why I started buying reloading equipment.
  10. Has anyone fished up near the Hamlin Beach State Park Area up on Lake Ontario? Got any spots or tips? We will be camping in the park Labor Day Weekend and my daughter and I would like to hit up some fishing does not matter what species it would be nice just to get out.
  11. I checked out Cabela's in Cheektowaga yesterday for you. Ton's of 308 but no Federal Fusion Lite and no other reduced load light recoil in 308 either.
  12. As the school year was coming to and end we created a “summer bucket list”. On that list was a bunch of stuff we wanted to do over the summer as a family. From small things to big things. So far we have checked off 14 items on that list which I think is pretty good considering how busy we are normally. It’s created a lot of cool family time that I know we all appreciated and we can head into the fall and the hunting season knowing we made the best of our summer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Smart man locking her down! Congratulations to both of you
  14. My 12ga 1100 love's the SST's. Tight pattern at 100 yards and never failed to drop a deer. Now that we are a rifle area she only comes out to play once a year.
  15. Bacon wrapped smoked venison blackstrap. Good lord was this fantastic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. That last part I think is why chatter has come to an end on this. There is still no factual information out there for anyone to go off of. The few times Hochul has been asked about it she failed to give details. Last I heard there was at least 3 different law suites in place and at least one Judge that is/will be putting a stay/hold on the law before September 1st.
  17. Good luck my friend, I'll be thinking of you all day. Post up later just to let us know how things are going.
  18. A father and son I know both shoot Howa as their primary deer gun. Ones a 6.5 and the other is a .308 if I’m remembering right. They have nothing bad to say about the guns. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. We are going Saturday to a local place to check a few used units out and I'll pick the guys brain about new while I am there. I'll see where that takes us then I may just take her up on the offer even though Bath is about 3.5 hours away from me.
  20. We need a dislike button..........
  21. I guess I don't necessarily have an exact question but I see people on other forums always commenting to buy new right now because the price between new and used is very close. When I look online new is way higher than used unless your looking at maybe something that is only one or two years old so like a 2020 or a 2021 model. To me it seems like I'll save money on a 2017 or 2018 model that has already depreciated in value but is not very old. Most of the new stuff I see online also lists the MSRP and you have to contact the dealer for the incentive price which leads to constant text, phone calls and emails from the dealer (ask me how I know LOL). So in the end there is no way to know what the final price of the new units are without contacting the dealer.
  22. My parents house is radiant heat slab with masonry block walls. I can tell you that’s the most comfortable home I’ve every been in. No crazy temperature swings like a forced air system and more efficient than a traditional base board heating system. Like someone said before it does take a while for it to heat up so my parents always keep the temp at one temperature all winter long. Also their heating bills are always lower then mine with a forced air system and we are in a pretty comparable house. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
