Interesting. I am not sure if that's where it was going though. It was while she was asking us the usual line of question you get when you bring your 1-2 year old into the office. After we answered the Dr. was onto the next question. I actually don't think I would mind at all if the Dr. where to mention gun safety and children. The Dr. wouldn't even need to ask if there are guns in the house just have a quick little spiel about it and move on to the next topic like they do with so many things that affect kids. I don't think a majority of kids get enough knowledge about guns and gun safety. I've found that most kids that know about guns and have handled them in a safe manor only see them as tools. There is not this crazy fascination with them and the need to handle them.

Probably wont ever have to worry about talking to his neighbors ever again either. LOL

I remember going to my kids pediatrician shortly after the SAFE act was put into law and we where asked if we had guns in the house. This wasn't our first visit either.

I got a buddy that every time he gets a new to him truck he crawls under it with a hammer and smacks the frame real hard getting the first "ding" out of the way. He swears by his method.

12U won so they are now 8-1. My daughter went 4 for 4. 4 at bats 4 walks. Lol. In the 4 at bats I don’t think she swung a single time and I really think she only had one good pitch that she could have swung at. Most of the hits the girls had where on bad pitches that they went for anyways. It will happen. She’s looked better the last 2 games and was able to hit a couple in the pregame warmups. 12U plays again tonight. I really really really hope my daughter gets her first hit tonight. Honestly I think I want it to happen more than she does. LOL

12U won again last night. They are now 7-1. My daughter is still without a hit but the pitchers they faced yesterday where not good. The first pitcher hit 3 out of the first 4 batters she faced and was pulled. The other pitchers struggled to get the ball anywhere near the plate so my daughter struck out once and was walked 4 times. Tonight is 8U if the rain holds out and it does not get canceled.

Sounds like you are doing everything right. Only way to get it moister is to add more pork than venison. I also do a 50/50 mix but I am ok with it like that.
